About Lightspeed Voice Quantum

Lightspeed Voice® is a provider of a cloud-based unified communications telephony platform and suite of business management tools collectively called Quantum.
Our platform has been developed internally over the past 10 years and includes a state-of-the-art IP-based telephone system, a lead follow-up and marketing automation platform, and various tools designed to give clients an intimate perspective into their business operations. The automations built into the system are truly unique and unlike any other product available on the market. Our platform enables users a simple interface and ease of use, but is backed by carefully crafted technology which is supported on our end-to-end infrastructure.
Our underlying backend infrastructure is purposefully built to be robust and infinitely scalable; the design is unique and proprietary. To ensure security, uptime, and reliability, we have rejected the common public cloud platforms on which to deliver our products. Instead, our infrastructure has been built within our own “cloud” on hardware that we own and control. We have developed a server virtualization method that allows us to operate hundreds of virtual machines on a single host, thus allowing for maximum individual client privacy and security while allowing unprecedented density and growth potential. Other systems that we have developed are related to ensuring maximum reliability over the public internet. For example, our Health Redirect feature monitors the internet connection at a client site. If our system detects an interruption of service, e.g. power outage, it will automatically re-route calls to a predefined alternative destination, such as a secondary office location. Our system will detect when internet service is restored and seamlessly reestablish default call routing – all with no human intervention required.

    the best part about Lightspeed was the ability to contact an analyst on the 1-800 desk if I had problems or needed to make changes
    Cons:
    unfortunately my company made changes so we no longer use lightspeed
