Scribe saves you time by automatically creating step-by-step guides from the work you're doing.

It follows along a process you want to document, turning clicks and keystrokes into written steps and screenshots, instantly. These instructions and visuals can be edited or modified before sharing.

Once completed, you can share the document with anyone via a link, or embed within other tools you're already using. You can also download the guide via PDF.

Makes creating SOP's easy

This was the easiest way to create SOP's and it encourages me to make them and not feel that I am sending too much time doing them. There is no need to endlessly take screenshots, and save them to a folder and create a document with text steps, it does all of that for you.

Pros:

It is the easiest program of its kind that I've used. I don't have to think about what I am capturing, I just go through the steps and it creates a document for me. I am also able to change or modify the text.

Cons:

Sometimes it duplicates steps, and in the base version you can't adjust the screenshot, if you want to expand the view out so they are all the same overall image.

Reasons for switching to Scribe

Took too much time and had to save a bunch of images to my computer.

SOP Essential

I have, and do, frequently recommend Scribe to anyone who needs an SOP for technical aspects of their work. I used to write down every step as I went, and that takes forever.

Pros:

Free tier works well. Strong data encryption. The system is easy and quick to set up. It is incredibly easy to use without much effort.

Cons:

To change highlights, or record on desktop, you have to upgrade. Other than that, I have no issues. This product was clearly designed by someone frustrated in a similar role. It works astonishingly well.

Reasons for choosing Scribe

Same reasons as before. Not as efficient, and a limited free tier.

Reasons for switching to Scribe

Loom has too many limitations on the free tier, and is significantly less efficient in both time documenting, and retrieving essential information. Plus, the limit on time during videos, and number of videos is significant.

My team has used the product - 1. It was easy to integrate 2. Help us in automating our business activity3. It was somewhat futuristic but once you start using such tools you'll become familiar

The negative point or an improvement could be its errors in reporting, I have found a difference between a human scribe and a tool is the errors get an increase, and this is the only thing I have to report, all the other things are good,

Scribe a great tool to use!

My overall experice with Scribe is good! I love how it alerts me when my document is being viewed. Also the ability to organize documents and also see the scribes per user.

What I like most about Scribe is that it's both easy for me to use to create a Scribe, but also easy for my team to use, when learning from a Scribe.

Transformed how we train and onboard staff

We used Scribe to document internal processes and onboarding for a growing client, it’s saved us hundreds of hours from boring data entry meetings & endless questions. What stands out most is how fast and easy it is. Even non-technical staff can create clear, step-by-step guides effortlessly. One of the best productivity tools I’ve used in years.

Easy to use, non technical, simple intuitive step by step instructions. Chrome extension is lightweight & rarely does not perform. Capturing technical workflows and turning them into clean, shareable guides is unmatched.

Cons:

For smaller teams for testing you can get away with the free version but paid for bigger teams to redact unnecessary complicated info.

Scribe is great!

Scribe is easy to use, our providers use it to close notes more efficiently and quickly, our MAs use it for prior auths for medications. Overall it makes workflow much quicker and smoother.

Scribe - An easy-To-Use Tool for quick but perfect Guides

Overall the experience is perfect, guides that took half an hour to make are now done in less then 10 minutes.

Pros:

Scribe is a super easy to use tool for creating manuals for small workflows. Thanks to editing features you can quickly improve the manual in general and have a high quality guide of your product/your workflow in only a few minutes. The rebranding options and easy to share options are perfect to share your comapny knowledge.

Cons:

At the moment, Scribe is only available in english. There is also a "Voice-to-Text" Option, but it only works with the english language, if you speak a different language, it tries to understand english (even thou you speak german) and the generated text is useless.

Automated SOP Creation

Overall, our experience with Scribe has been great. We have almost completely switched from manual procedure creation to using Scribe.

Pros:

For creating SOPs, I don't think there is an easier or better platform. It makes creating procedures extremely efficient

Cons:

For users just getting started, it can be a little confusing. It also picks up so much user input that it can be time-consuming to make edits.

Pros:

Create user guides in a matter of minutes by just clicking your mouse on screen. Editing text and screenshots is easy post screen-capturing.

Cons:

The only slightly annoying thing is when exporting to PDF the radio button is not always the same size so some circles are bigger and some are smaller, but that's the only complaint I have :)
