Pros:

All you need to know about network monitoring, evolved over time and simply does what it needs to, great reporting.

Cons:

Not many negative things I could think of besides not being a fully dedicated network person, this made it easy to understand, troubleshoot and find root cause.

Its ok but personally i think there are better products on the market.

It does what it should but in Realtime and you can set it up as you want.

Cons:

Its a pain to setup groups for notifications. And some scenarios are just not possible without big workarounds.

Nagios is very flexible and the user is able to choose many dashboards from other projects, such as Thruk, Adagios and others.

Pros:

Nagios is able to monitor all of your network routers, switches, Access Points and devices that support the SNMP protocol, including No-Breaks, power generators and even phone systems. For the endpoints Nagios is able to monitor all of your servers (Linux, Unix, Windows and MacOS).

Cons:

There's a learning curve for the configuration of the application and the dashboards that follow it. After finishing this first piece the monitoring piece is a breeze.

The dashboard looks impressive and eye catching. The software is easy to use with lots of features. The software analysis the network traffic in depth and advance user options that gives IT administrators more power.

Cons:

There are lots of options in the dashboard and sometimes it is harder find what you are looking for. The customer support team sometimes unable to find a solution.

Easy to get started!user-friendly and we can integrate with Nagios XI just in some clicks. Thanks...

Cons:

We cannot see full visibility and it can't recognize all traffic flows because of heterogeneous network topology we can not deploy it on the production environment.
