Pros:

Easy to design using Canva in Telemetry. Seamless integrations with other products such as YouTube and more is easy to insert in the presentation.

Cons:

The lack of ability to play movies through Telemetry. For holidays, I would like to be able to link a streaming service to play movies.

No regrets....great system!

great experience. Wouldn't have any problem recommending the program to others managing display screens. The live demo was very helpful in deciding which system to go with and the staff have answered all my questions. Enjoying working with the systems.

Pros:

TelemetryTV is very easy to use. I do a lot of work on CANVA and it integrates so well with the TelemetryTV interface. Still learning a lot about the program but so far it has proven to be easy and intuitive to use.

Cons:

Wish there were more specific videos on the system. There are several out there but looking for more specifics.

Telemetry TV use in school

I have used TelemetryTv for over 5 years. I cast it from a computer in my classroom to a tv in our school lobby. The presentation that is displayed is our weekly calendar of school events, special upcoming events, the weather and anything else my principal deems necessary.

I am tech savvy but not trained in any educational technology. However I am able to use this platform to display weekly calendar, events. weather in a welcoming way as people enter our school.

Cons:

My only issue is that the more devices I stream to the more I have to pay.

I really enjoy how customizable everything is and how it can all be controlled from the easy-to-use desktop app. For users without design knowledge, Canva is a great tool to have built right into the app as well.

Cons:

I wish the slide expiration wasn't hidden behind a paywall.

It's really easy to upload and schedule content. The scheduling part is probably my favorite - it really helps with planning. We use it primarily as an announcement board for our customers, so we always want to be timely.

Cons:

It's hard to troubleshoot issues sometimes when it occasionally just stops working, but staff have always been incredibly helpful. I also wish there was a way I could preview how it will look on our specific device.

Great for sharing important information in the school building

Love this product for displaying graphics and videos around the school building. Have been using it for several years.

Ease of use to be able to control the different playlists. Love using it to display important announcements but also photo slide shows, videos, daily schedule, etc.

Cons:

Cannot control from my phone- would love an app that it easy to use so I don't always have to trouble shoot from a computer.

Telemetry makes its so simple to display Key metrics to our associates on the floor. This enables them to make critical decisions to ensure our products flows at the correct rate. It also is the best way to display any news to our associates that they would need to know without having 1 on 1's.

Cons:

Con would be that I can not display the full screen of goggle sheets. It only shows a small window.

TelemetryTV is Top-Tier - Incredible Software and Support

Live chat with support is one of the best features - I've used it many times to ask questions, learn, and to request new features. Very responsive! We use Telemetry for many dozens of devices across our company, at dozens of locations. Each location has Telemetry users who keep their screens updated with site-relevant content, while at the same time Corporate is able to push the corporate messaging out as well. All the devices are managed centrally on Google admin, so our IT group is push out uniform policies, and patches automatically stay up to date.

Pros:

It's all about the software; so easy to use, lots of features and apps, and our users are able to instantly update their screens with no deployment headaches.

Cons:

Setting permissions across all the user groups, apps, playlists, and devices is a bit tricky. Complex websites will not preview well in the web app.

I was able to learn how to use the system in an afternoon, it was easy to set up, easy to use. I can have multiple people help me with uploading content. I was told by our IT people that this was not possible, but in reality it was.

Easy to learn, easy to setup. Was able to use off the shelf TV from Best Buy, I like that I can change the content from my office even, with locations that are across town.

Cons:

Waiting to get everything setup. Which was not really a con as it only took a couple of days for the equipment to arrive.
