I LOVE this product.

I immediately loved using SamCart because it was so easy to set up. The order bump and upsell features helped me to sell into six figures my first year using it. And that was also the first year that I even started that business. It is the one single product I could not go without in my business.

Custom Checkout Pages, Intuitive Templates, Easy to Set Up & Use

Since software has evolved many of the platforms that I use have integrated ways to collect payments. For example, I use Teachable and you can collect payments on their platform. Also, I use convert kit and they have a way for you to collect payments via email. However, I still think that Samcart is superior to these other platforms. There check out pages are like sales pages also and they allow you to include a testimonial and a money back guarantee and a overview of what the customer is paying for so there’s this one page check out experience that I think has definitely increased my conversions overtime . In addition to this, the back end management of Samcart is so user-friendly and there are so many custom ways that you can work to help people adjust their payment plans if they need to it is really an excellent platform.

Pros:

I have been using Samcart for more than five years and it’s just gotten better over time. They have beautiful drag & drop templates that allow you to build your pages with little to no design skill. It’s also really easy to make multiple pages by saving a template and then reloading it every time that you create a new product. I find that a lot of times with new software there’s a steep learning curve in setting it up and with Samcart you almost don’t need to go through any training because you can just figure it out as you go.

Cons:

I don’t really have any complaints nor do I think there’s anything that is missing. It integrates with all of my software, they have excellent customer service & they continue to improve overtime. They provide exactly what they are stating and it’s an excellent tool.

Good Idea with slow customer support

It seems to be easy to use, but the way in which the customer support is organized maked it a nightmare

Cons:

I really don't understand how in 2021 they don't have chat support. Applications that are simpler and that are not so critical for the support of a company offer chat support. It is very very frustrating to work everything by EMAIL, because there is a significant delay between what you want to do and what actually happens. It has been a very bad experience for as a new customer. At this point, I can't tell you if the solution works or not because I haven't been able to move forward. I have encountered problems that I have not been able to solve and do not allow me to move forward. The Idea that they sell you in the webinars and marketing stuff is great, however, you have a learning curve, which I wouldn't mind. But the support they give you to make things happen is very slow. (Speacilly because you are a paying customer) This is not free customer support. You are paying for support

I really enjoy and appreciate the ease of use with Samcart's products and course app once I got over the small learning curve.

Cons:

There was a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, but, I believe it's normal when learning any new software.

Kajabi was out of my price range.

Reasons for switching to SamCart

I made the switch because my students have had awful login issues with LifterLMS over the years. It was time to upgrade to a more solid LMS.

Pros:

I love how easy it is to use SamCart. It is user-friendly, has great functionality, sets up fast with lots of data reporting. Best of all, it has one-click upsells, bump offers, and premade checkout pages that have been proven to convert. I also really like that it offers multiple ways to pay (in full, installments, etc) to a single checkout page.

Cons:

I can't justify the $49/month lowest pricing tier with limited features (no order bump, post-purchase upsells or multiple payment options), especially if you're just starting out. Solopreneurs might want to look elsewhere. It's also more for selling information products, software, and memberships rather than services.

Robust and Powerful Selling System

Overall, I'm hoping to continue using the service long term. They make selling, and more importantly, increasing order value about as seamless and effortless as possible with all their selling features like order bumps and upsells.

What I've been impressed with most, has been their friendly, hand-on customer support. They reached out immediately upon sign-up offering assistance. And the support person I had went the extra mile in every way, from providing valuable feedback on salespage design, to reaching out to her PayPal rep to have a feature turned on in my account - all without me doing a thing. True customer care.

Cons:

It is definitely more complex and time consuming than their marketing makes it seem. Could you get a page published in 5-10mins? Yes. IF you already have other things setup and in place. And, if you don't care about design or sales conversions. It's not as cut and dry as it seems. But, the value is still there.

GrooveSell (by Groove Funnels) just did NOT click with my brain. So many steps and processes that I got lost.

Changed the way I do business

The help was phenominal. Got a walkthrough with a live human as soon as I bought it, then was directed to the extremely detailed and helpful tutorials on pretty much anything Samcart can do. They were great because you could just watch the ones you needed and ignore the rest. Their help desk was also very responsive and always followed up to ensure an issue was resolved. This product literally changed the way I did business and I could never have done what I needed to do without it.

I loved that I could create a sales page and have my cart/credit card processing all in one piece of software. Also enjoyed the ease with which I could integrate this with my email software and other programs

Cons:

There was a bit of a learning curve when creating my sales page, but that's because there is just SO MUCH FUNCTIONALITY it takes a while. But once you've figured it out, it's amazing.

Pros:

Samcart is our primary tool to sell online, they offer a complete solution that will help to boost your online sales. The platform is pretty easy to use and offer everything that is needed to build a profitable online business. The platform is old enough to have a real MRR and sustainability, which is something you want when you choose your cart solution.

Cons:

The platform is a little expensive, but I think it's well worth. You want sustainability with your checkout solution.

Good eCommerce platform that can get expensive

SamCart can be a good choice for delivering courses, the checkout page features are quite interesting. Pricing should be considered, the advanced selling tools and support can make it a valuable investment for some creators

My favorite software for Product Checkouts

SamCart makes it easy to sell online, and you don't need to be too techie to start using this one.

Pros:

SamCart helps creating Order pages way fast where you can easily add Order bumps and upsells to your Order page as well (these help improving the Average Transaction Value). Plus, I like how they keep improving things e.g. now you can create Courses inside SamCart, and can use Drag n Drop landing page builder.

Cons:

At the moment, nothing that I can think of.
