About SamCart

SamCart is a drag-and-drop website builder built for online merchants and drop shippers to create custom eCommerce sites that convert visitors into customers. Key features include built-in templates, digital wallets, localization, A/B testing, subscription management and reporting.

Administrators can create coupons, offer discounts and collect payments from customers on a unified interface. Additionally, SamCart allows teams to integrate the system with several third-party applications including Shopify, Magento and Bigcommerce.

5-STAR Customer Support & GREAT product overall!

SAMCART has revolutionized my sales page capabilities esp for upselling my product. And I really looking forward to integrating something they call "order bumps" into my online course salespage. The sales page layout and elements are attractive and intuitive to use and make the customer's purchasing experience simple and elegant. I have to put an additional plug in here for [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], a customer service rep that really went above and beyond in helping me. We did an onboarding call and she helped solve a laundry list of questions and helped me troubleshoot beautifully. She is humorous, light-hearted and incredibly good at her job. She had other things that helped me besides just in SAMCART too, and that extra care really makes a difference. Especially when I was going cross-eyed with all the tech learning to launch my new online group coaching course! Thanks, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]!

I greatly appreciate what this product has brought into my company as far as efficiency and maximizing profitability. But I have to say that what I like most about this product i the top-notch Customer Service. I have worked directly with 3 different customer service reps and all have been professional, efficient, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and just really help their company's product sing. SAMCART has so many useful elements and they are constantly improving. One of the best tech product/services I've bought as a business owner.

Cons:

I can't quite figure out how to us the product in test mode to try it out before publishing. But I'm pretty sure that 's just user error and that I will learn that on my next check in call!

Reasons for switching to SamCart

Kajabi is also good and I will write a review for them too! But SAMCART just maximizes what is possible for the checkout experience with more payment processor options and integrations.

Horrible experience with Sam Cart-DO NOT PURCHASE

Horrible. I was left on my own to teach myself how to create my own course through the training videos. The training videos are complicated there long and difficult to stay focused with. Additionally, unless you know how to videotape yourself this is a complete waste of money, As it has been for me. This product is not for newbies as they assured me that it was.

I don’t. I have tried for almost a year to get through the training videos that teach me about creating my course. However, unless you are good with videotaping yourself, you will be lost as I was. They tell you that it only takes 14 days to create this course but it takes you longer than that to get through the training videos on how to do this all. It’s very complicated it is absolutely not simple and if you don’t know what you’re doing you’re going to get lost like I have. On top of that I purchased this believing it was a one time fee to create my course and when I couldn’t make anything work I chalked it off to a bad $300 wasted. However now they Want to charge me $349 to re-up for another year! I was under the impression it was only a one time fee and now I am trying to get my money refunded which is becoming extremely difficult. I decided to do a buyer beware review to as many sites as I could to let people know if you don’t know how to create a course, do not purchase their course builder. You will be completely lost as I have been.

Cons:

Unless you know how to create a course you were not going to know how to do this. The videos assume that you know how to write what you need to write and you know how to create a video! They market to people who are new to this by saying how easy it is that you can do in 14 days. That is a scam! Unless you have 10 hours a day for those 14 days to go through all the training videos create your written content and then create all the videos you have to make that is an impossible task.

SamCart Solved All My Problems Simply

This has been my best experience ever with any online platform. I was able to start earning five figures a month within weeks of joining, and their tech support helped smooth out any bumps (I had zero tech and almost no marketing experience before joining SamCart). I feel like I owe them so much more than their highly affordable annual fee for helping my business grow exponentially so quickly!

The ease of building the pages and the quality of the pages is exceptional. I particularly like the Testimonials section. Strong customer support and seamless payment processing.

Cons:

I want it to integrate with every other product ever made, but I guess some software companies are not yet on board the SamCart train so for now Zapier is a bridge to some platforms (2000 of them) that are not directly integrated yet.

Reasons for choosing SamCart

Ease of use and the experience for the consumer. I find Cliickfunnels agressive/overwhelming/annoying and far too expensive.

Reasons for switching to SamCart

I was paying a fortune for Kajabi and not using it at all. There was not nearly enough training support on Kajabi and it was exponentially more complicated to use, so I didn't touch it.

SamCart is the bells & whistles of checkout pages.

SamCart has a built-in affiliate plan you get access for (to create your own affiliate program), but for the small amount of affiliates I have and that even practiced my affiliate program, it just wasn't worth $199/month for me. If they had a sales page builder included, then $199/month would make sense for me. Or, if retrying failed payments was included in the $99/month plan, that would make sense. Podia's checkout process may not be as robust, but they cover all the rest at a fraction of the price.

You can't get a better checkout page than what you'll build with Samcart! Truly. I really loved the various templates included in their plan and the fact that you can brand your checkout pages. The testimonials you can add to checkout pages and the quick summaries of what the customer is receiving is awesome too.

Cons:

At the time of my using them, there were two plan options. You had to do the higher $199/month plan in order for them to retry failed payments. I felt that to be unfair and should be a standard part of their plans. I was paying the higher $199/month plan just for that feature... but most of the time, customer payments were cleared.

Reasons for switching to SamCart

Initially, I'd moved to InstaPage (to build my sales pages) and SamCart from using the free Woocommerce store plugin for Wordpress. I moved to them, because I wanted to have a long-form sales page look rather than a "shop" look.

It has a simple user interface that makes it easy to set up without technical know-how. Samcart allows you to customize the look and feel of your landing pages to make them unique. It enables you to sell digital products like courses, and ebooks, as well as coaching, consulting, and other services. And you have payment processing, analytics, and all kinds of other features to help you maximize your online sales.

Cons:

The cost of Samcart is greater than some other platforms on the lower price plan, and some of its best features like Subscription Saver are available only on the more expensive plan. Despite this, we think Samcart is worth considering.

SamCart - from a newbie

I am new to the world of online courses. (I've always done live workshops before). This has been a great tool for self-study and to try out what will work for me.

Pros:

This software is pretty user friendly. Lots of drag and drop features and easy customization. As a visual person, this was great for me. My most appreciated part of SamCart is its training videos - the content and amount of learning that they offer is fantastic.

Cons:

My biggest hurdle with this software is that it does not integrate with Square or a POS that will allow customers to pay in many ways. This is limited, which I feel might be a negative deciding point at the end of it all. I'd like to see things be VERY EASY TO BUY for the customers.

At the time, SamCart had a great sale on their product and offer for training. That suited my needs and I jumped in!

A great tool that is consistently improving

Overall, SamCart is a great, reliable and very effective tool that is pretty easy to use. There wasn't much of a learning curve and so it was very intuitively design with incredible customer service. Also all the helpful and free tutorials received from [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and his team were value-packed and incredible resources.

I loved the drag and drop design functionality which allowed me to design beautiful sales pages and opt-ins.

Cons:

Sometimes it was a little annoying when in the middle of designing something would trigger some type of refresh and I would lose the work that I had just done and would need to start again. But that could have been because it was still in the early days of their updated design (just fresh out of beta).

Keap's Infusionsoft was too complicated to use and I spent 6-months trying to figure it out (while paying their expensive monthly fees) without ever utilizing it. I had to make and executive decision and choose something simpler because as they say 'time is money' and in this case, I was absolutely losing money trying to make Infusionsoft work for us.

OVerall it's a good, easy to use platform. Pretty straight forward and the templates that they have are good to use so that you're not starting from a blank canvas.

The product is easy to use and the training that they give is very good. Step by step process. They walk you through how to create, design and launch your first product in a relatively short amount of time.

Cons:

There is a huge price jump to get added features such as price bump which I really wanted but isn't offered in the basic package.

It seemed like it was an easier to use platform from the presentation that I watched. I was attracted to the price as well. They were running a special that seemed like it was a good deal.

Want to steal your money

I don't recommend. Unless you want no 3D secure on the cards and ready to accept a bad experience.

No 3d secure for european cards, it's the only good point

Cons:

Very bad upsell management, bad customer UI, and the worst : VERY BAD customer expeirnce / pricing management. You feel like a cow needed to be milked. One example : i wanted to downgrade my subscription : they said they would send me an email, they never did. Very bad dark pattern. Fix your product instead of ripping people off.
