About RF-SMART WMS

RF-SMART is a cloud-based inventory management solution designed to help businesses using Oracle NetSuite, Oracle SCM Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle JD Edwards streamline the entire supply chain process, from manufacturing and order management to retail and distribution. Professionals can use the mobile application to create work orders and track the completion status of tasks on a centralized platform.

RF-SMART allows organizations to maintain a record of available stock and track the real-time location of items using barcode scanning functionality. Supervisors can manage sales orders, generate packing slips or shipping labels and gain real-time visibility into warehouse operations. Additionally, it lets users handle purchase orders and generate reports related to operational processes.

RF-SMART facilitates integration with various third-party applications. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via FAQs, phone, email and other online measures.

RFSmart feedback

Very positive. The product works as intended without a lot of fuss. RFSmart customer service has been pleasant, helpful and timely.

Pros:

Its intuitive and easy to use. It streamlines warehouse operations with minimal bugs or issues. The responsive customer support make it a standout choice for efficient warehouse management.

Cons:

A higher up front cost. Other solutions are less expensive; however, they may not have been as feature rich or as a good a value in the long term. I don't know as I only use RFSmart.

Pros:

RF-SMART has greatly improved traceability throughout our warehouse operations, allowing us to track lot numbers and inventory movement with precision. The ability to print multiple License Plates (LPs) directly within the Receive Order function has streamlined our receiving process and reduced delays. Additionally, the LP put-away function has significantly increased both operational efficiency and inventory accuracy, enabling more structured storage and faster retrieval of materials.

Cons:

One of the key limitations we encountered was the absence of a directed put-away function. This feature would have allowed us to automate bin assignments based on rules such as zone, item type, or bin availability, further optimizing our warehouse flow and reducing reliance on manual decision-making.

DSI did not provide us with the tools to help improve our processes and reduce year-end inventory discrepancies

It's ok. It's not bad

We don't hate it. The fact that we keep being told we are "unique" makes it challenging as everything is a "mod".

It does make warehouse ops more efficient for picking. People are uses to it now. The business can see a benefit of having it.

Cons:

Investment and ongoing cost is very high. The lack of support and guidance - by this we mean when our warehouse has issues, we have to log a ticket with the helpdesk, which is in a different timezone, then it takes 24 hours to get a notification that the support ticket has been received, but meanwhile, it's an urgent production issue, so now we are frantically calling our AU support team directly for help. The support experience as a non US client is really crap.

We wanted license plating. Paperless WMS doesn't integrate to NS without going into development

Incredible WMS that is very easy to use!

RF-Smart has been great to work with. Not only do I really like their WMS but their team is phenominal. Everyone I have worked with and interacted with has been extremely helpful and always willing to help. I went to the user summit and had the pleasure of meeting the [sensitive content hidden] and he was also just as friendly and helpful as all the other employees I have worked with. If you come up with any ideas or ways for the product to improve they will dedicate resources to understanding your idea and are very receptive to that feedback. I cant say enough good things about the company culture and products.

Pros:

I like how innovative RF-Smart is and that you can also customize as needed. The team is quick to answer and always willing to help. The platform is also very user friendly so I dont have pushback from our employees when I train them and they are able to feel comfortable quickly. After initial training I dont have to worry about getting questions from the warehouse on how to use.

Cons:

One thing I feel could be more helpful is related to new releases of the products. We have done some customizations and then in future releases some of those customizations have been added to the base product. Im bad at looking up release notes so I take blame on this as well, but it would be nice to receive more information related to new releases if you are using customized functions so I can know if I should switch back to the core functions. Maybe its just something I can add to a yearly review with my account rep to make sure we arent missing out on any new features.

NetSuite WMS is lacking in features and when it was first introduced it was full of issues.

Pros:

The ability to provide real-time visibility into the movement of items. The interface is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for staff to learn and use. Additionally, the ability to customize RF-SMART to align with our specific business processes, enabling us to tailor the system to meet unique operational requirements.

Cons:

One challenge we’ve faced with RF-SMART is the printer setup. Because we operate across multiple sites with a large number of printers, having the option to easily connect USB printers directly to the system would have made the setup considerably simpler for our use case. Additionally, we occasionally experience unexpected failures e.g. with pick/pack. When we attempt to replicate the issue in a sandbox environment, everything works as expected. Then retrying the same action in production works, which makes troubleshooting sometimes difficult to diagnose.

From pen and paper to the sky is the limit

The team continues to stand by their product as do I and it is for good reason. The WMS is amazing. We created enough efficiency to be able to complete projects, that were perpetually on the back burner, due to the lack of time we had to finish them.

RF-SMART was easy to set up and integration was seamless. Best part is the increase of efficiency. Working with several WMS software previously, RF-SMART is by far one of the easiest to use and understand. Configurations and modifications are also user friendly. The set up makes trouble shooting very easy.

Cons:

We had a pen and paper approach when we integrated. The difference was a complete 180. We have no true cons for the WMS software.

Reasons for choosing RF-SMART WMS

The fact that RF-SMART was created for NetSuite told me a lot of what I needed to know. The team understands the importance of compatibility, and they do not need specialists for each additional ERP the software is associated with and can be used for.

Moving from NetSuite WMS to RF-Smart WMS

As a WMS solution, there is nothing better in the market that integrates into NetSuite as well as RF-Smart.

RF-Smart's WMS integration into NetSuite was fast and seamless. This allowed the business to transition over to WMS without any downtime.

Cons:

The team cant find too many faults with RF-Smart's WMS. The annual cost can be higher than other solutions, but the software works.

KTL - 5+ years of excellent partnership with RF-Smart

Excellent. The tool works great, the implementation team are great to work with and they approach things with a solution focus for the customer. And they have a development roadmap which shows they are thinking of their customers future needs.

It is robust and transparent. We have never had a problem with the tool in 5+ years of usage, across 5 locations and hundreds of thousands of transactions.

Cons:

Until recently, a settings change applied would have impact across the business. I'm happy to say now that there are new functions to apply settings per location and/or user.

Real-time updates → inventory, orders, and transactions are instantly reflected in your ERP. No duplicate databases → fewer sync issues or reconciliation headaches. Easy adoption → workers can use intuitive mobile devices with barcode scanning rather than complex desktop workflows. Faster ROI → companies don’t have to overhaul IT systems to get strong WMS capabilities.

Cons:

Heavy dependency on ERP setup — customization sometimes requires ERP changes rather than quick WMS adjustments. Can feel less flexible when unique warehouse workflows are needed. System performance can slow down during peak transaction loads. User interface can feel a bit dated.

SIT labeling has been very effective. Really helps streamline warehouse activities like bin transfers and stock counting

Cons:

serialized inventory is still a little difficult to deal with, but license plates make things a tad bit easier.
