Made It Easy for Remote Team Learning

ProProfs Training Maker was a good solution for training our remote team. The platform is cloud-based, so our employees could access the training materials from anywhere. We also appreciated the ability to track employee progress and see who had completed the training.

Needed Quizzes to embed on website for Lead Gen

It was a great option for what my client wanted - which was to create quizzes and embed them on her website for lead generation purposes.

It was pretty easy to use and set up. It was easy to see who had taken a quiz, what their answers were and what their score was. Customer Service was responsive and helpful.

Cons:

The embedding process was OK but wasn't flawless. The support for embedding wasn't great as I recall. Like, that wasn't one of the main features that they advertised and therefore weren't willing or able to assist. The biggest issue was that I was getting a scroll bar on mobile. Not terrible but didn't look great if you scrolled way down. The functionality was totally fine on mobile though.

Reasons for choosing ProProfs LMS

It's been 2 years since this project, so I don't know if the other "quiz" builders are still priced the same or even still exist, but they were either too expensive or just didn't have the features/options that we needed. Here's the list I had sent my client at the time: Here are some of the other quiz makers I researched: Interact – tryinteract.com ($29/mo $204/yr) Fyrebox ($39/mo or $390/yr) Qzzr ($25/mo but might need next plan up which is $199/mo!) Opinion Stage ($99/mo or $780/year) Engageform - 4screens.net/engageform ($75/mo) Typeform ($35/mo, $360/yr) Quiz Revolution - mystudiyo.com (yuck) Riddle ($49/mo or $468/yr) Playbuzz (free, very limited) Google Forms (free, very limited)

Pros:

The tools provided are easy to use from the users perspective. I just received the following error message when trying to submit the review.

Cons:

There are too many limitations to customize the product from both a learning and branding perspective. Due to time zone differences, getting support within an hour window for a glitch in the system is impossible. Every ticket I submitted took 24-48 hours before I received a response. Not good.

Needed to Onboard New Employees Quickly

Takes care of onboarding courses

It solves lot many problems that we used to face when we were engaged in traditional training models. It’s very user friendly and this enables us to cover ground.

From boring to awesome training results.

Our old training was BORING. ProProfs Training Maker rewrote the script by making it way more engaging with videos, learning paths, quizzes, and even certificates. The team actually enjoys the training now.

Mobile-Friendly Training

Mobile-friendly, accessible from anywhere, easy to track mobile learning. Mobile compatibility was the main deciding factor.

Cons:

The mobile interface is a little different from the desktop version, but it's still easy to use. None really. ProProfs happened to be the first tool we explored and then decided upon.

Pros:

Play exciting online puzzles and brain games at ProProfs or create a unique one. You can also make your own brain teasers, trivia or online puzzle games and share it with friends. Combine fun with learning, challenge and enhance your brain's processing speed and performance.

Cons:

Their platform doesn't integrate with other MLS sites and this would be great if it could like with Moodle.

Pros:

The best part is that it provides flexibility to the instructor as well as the employees. They both can access the training course anywhere, anytime. Also, the instructor can track the employees performance and progress.

Cons:

The demo version must be provided for longer time-period so that the user can better understand its functionality.
