About VinciWorks

EssentialSkillz is a cloud-based closed-loop compliance learning management solution (LMS), which caters to businesses of all sizes across various industry verticals. It provides version control for content and automation capabilities for the course and policy compliance. Key features include SCORM-based course authoring, risk assessment, instructor-led training (ILT), automated user uploads, and more.

EssentialSkillz offers users a compliance dashboard, which helps them to identify non-compliant teams, offices, or individuals. It also provides individual certifications for authored courses with different reference numbers, and it features multi-level administrator access. The solution's reporting engine helps users to generate custom reports, which help them to spot trends and make business decisions.

Additionally, EssentialSkillz features custom branding capabilities, unique URLs, administrator notifications, SMTP/HTML emails, document distribution and pass rates for courses and policies.

Services are offered on an annual subscription basis that includes support via phone, email, and online FAQs.

Pros:

The user interface is excellent, and the courses thorough. All our customers tell us how good the courses are.

Cons:

The administration side of things isn't always intuitive, and tracking various customer orders can get confusing unless you know all the specifics of what you want to look at.

Easy to use for admin and users, can author own modules and edit existing ones, flexible and customisable modules and system admin, great support available

Cons:

Somewhat restricted with the authoring tool without HTML experience, in terms of interactivity, although the system can host SCORM compliant modules from other software

The visual quality and ease of use along with the ability of customization to an organisational brand - The support provided by the support team is invaluable - They help make sure that you get the maximum out of the system

Cons:

Own content is labor intensive to upload, especially as a small business you do not have access to creative software such as Dreamweaver to create against

Well adapted to our organisation, in terms of user interface and e-learning / risk assessment content.

Cons:

Additional user guidance videos would be appreciated - they are more user friendly than the Administrators' Guide. This would be particularly useful for some of the tasks that line mangers should perform (they are not as familiar as general system administrators), e.g. progressing / resolving actions raised from risk assessments.

The system is easy to use, and easily modifiable to meet our needs. It provides a range of option on how staff can be tested on the learning material.

Cons:

It would be great if the size of the display area could be larger to allow for more content, graphics or user interaction.
