About Fitrix ERP

Fitrix Electronics Manufacturing ERP solution offers an integrated application for accounting, distribution and manufacturing management functions. It is fit for small and midsize companies in discrete, make, and assemble-to-order manufacturing.

Fitrix Electronics Manufacturing ERP contains applications for manufacturing, core accounting and financial management, distribution, eCommerce integration and customer relationship management (CRM). There are many system modules specific to manufacturers, such as bills of material, labor processing, product configurators, master scheduling and more.

In addition, Fitrix Electronics Manufacturing ERP can support automatic sending of grouped documents - including invoices and purchase orders via email, hard copy, or fax. The Flexible Document Deliver (FDD) feature handles these processes and allows preferences to be set for preventing a mismatch.

Fitrix Software is based in Vista, California, and was founded in 1987. The company sells Fitrix ERP via both direct sales and through its partner network of value-added resellers.

Pros:

I like the ability to quickly build/modify software to support our growing business in a graphic Windows-based front end, character based front end, and/or HTML front end, all with same source code. I also like the ability to accept Fitrix updates and not lose all the labor our customizations represent.

Cons:

They lack support outside of North America. We can not get support for operation in China, Eastern Europe, and other less developed areas.

Pros:

We love the flexibility of the software. I cannot say enough about how valuable the team at Fitrix is. If I need any report created, it's very easy to communicate with them and they will do it! Very knowledgeable team.

Cons:

There are always certain things that you have to learn with new software. After using it for two years, I cannot think of anything that I like least about this product.

It's not a huge market segment, so the skills are not as marketable as something like SAP.

We receive great response from the help desk. The procedures are consistent in all the modules of the software.

Cons:

When updates are released, our software isn't always automatically updated. We'll run into a problem or glitch, contact the help desk, and then realize we didn't receive an update.

We were pleasantly surprised with the customer support and service we received and continue to receive from Fitrix during our transition.

The software is easy to learn and the screens are consistent throughout the different modules. The support from a technical aspect has been exceptional.

Cons:

Some features of the underlying language and SQL are not available inside of Fitrix.
