About OMS EHR

Objective Medical Systems (OMS) EHR is an ONC-ATCB certified Meaningful Use compliant on-premise medical software designed for cardiology practices. The product caters to mid-size and large practices. Key features include Electronic Health Records, patient scheduling, e-Prescribing, cardiovascular diagnostic reports and lab integration.

OMS EHR provides patient risk assessment through a Framingham Scorecard. The product also offers clinical decision support for clinical history, allergy check, medication, demography and labs.

OMS EHR offers ePrescribing, which enables physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants to electronically generate, transmit and file patient prescriptions. The product also offers invasive cardiology, where practitioners can manage cath lab reporting via 3D heart imaging.

OMS EHR accepts five different methods of input: traditional typing, e-Ink, handwriting recognition, voice transcription, and templates specific to cardiology. The voice transcription functionality is offered via integration with Nuance Voice Recognition software.

OMS EHR offers online and email support to the customers.

Pros:

Vendor goes above and beyond to accommodate our practice workflow, as well as an ongoing commitment to continuously optimizing and improving the OMS EHR. Very high utilization and adoption rate with an extremely high user satisfaction rate. The system is a fully data driven EHR that has insurmountable capabilities of integration. OMS gave our practice all the tools to having a fully digital EHR without compromising or interrupting our patient volume and patient satisfaction.

Cons:

I really don't have anything noteworthy or negative to say about the product or vendor at this time. OMS has exceeded our overall needs and expectations for our institution.
