Parents Booking 2026: Benefits, Features & Pricing

The guys who developed the software are a dream to work with and very quickly respond to any questions that I have or help that I need

I know they're working on it but a more seamless link with PowerSchool would help me enormously!

The Parents Booking system facilitates a smooth parents evening from start to finish. The set up is easy, with MIS integration and ability to dictate all settings. For example, permitting gaps between appointments or insisting that appointments run one after the other. There are granular permissions to change appointment lengths per teacher, allow scheduling of breaks, or extending the evening. These can be disabled by the administrator. The interface is easy to use for teachers and parents. It facilitates efficient, confidential parents evenings and has led to huge increases in engagement, as parents can join from any device and any location. Multiple parents or teachers can join a single appointment too, which reduces duplication.

No disadvantages. This is an excellent, reliable product, which is continuously developed to add additional useful features.

During the past 12 months we have made use of the video meeting facility due to pandemic restrictions; next year we will be mainly using the booking service for face to face meetings. The flexibility of both is very useful.

Occasional glitches during evenings. These were resolved as quickly as possible - very helpful support.

Once it is set up it is incredibly easy to use. I ahve used it for parents evenings as both a teacher and a parent and I love it. As a parent I could join the meetings from work or home, it meant that appointments I might not have been able to attend in person I was still able to attend online and have a converstation with my child's teacher. As a teacher I really love the fact that appointments keep to time. People who haven't booked can't suddenly appear and parents can't skip the queue. Most of the parents I have sought opinion from also love it for it's ease of use and that they save so much time now fo parents evenings, and can be at home looking after siblings/ cooking dinner, between appointments. Two negatives I have from parents, sometimes they can't log in, I think this is a fault with their technology - we overcome this by providing access to chromebooks in school for those who need it, and some parents complain they don't have long enough. These would be the parents who make you run late during in person meetings, the vast majority of parents are happy with times and you can adjust the length of your meeting if you wanted to.

It isn't always straight forward if staff leave and we have a change in timetable - there have been improvements which makes it easier.

We started using this product during the First covid lockdown in 2020. It was very easy to set up, syncing directly with our MIS. Setup of individual evening is very easy and both the staff and the parents love it! So much so that even though we are now back in full attendance at school both the staff and parents have asked us to keep using it instead of face to face meeting because on the whole it is easier and more convenient for all concerned

If I had to nit pick the sign on experience for parents can be a bit finnicky, due to the fact that it pulls the information " as is" from the MIS and you have to input it EXCATLY as it is written, when you have two parents with different names this has to be correct down to a full stop or it won't allow them to sign up.

Easy to use. End users find it easy to use also.

The interface initially was not the best and there was a shared login for admin permissions rather than delegating to individual users.

It made Parents evening much more manageable in that the timings for each appointment was kept to an exact time I.e. no overlap of appointments making the evening run over.

No I felt that it was a very easy software to navigate & had no issues while using it.

It allows parent evenings to be completed from anywhere, it allows both teachers and parents to have a more flexi schedule.

The teacher side of the software could look a little more modern but it’s completely functional and I believe is being updated soon!

The ease with which we can set up parents evening bookings for parents and then convert them to video calls.

The use of teachers first names that are pulled from The MIS is a bit of an inconvenience as I have to change these everytime.
