About AssociationVoice

Building Edition by AssociationVoice is a hosted property management solution that brings together building managers, security, staff, board and residents within a single solution spectrum. Its connectivity enables management to make decisions by eliminating common mistakes and streamlining typical time-consuming activities.

Building Edition is suitable for both small and large property management firms in a variety of housing industries, including apartments, condos, senior and residential housing. The solution has four major facets: Building Management, Resident Portal, Concierge and Portfolio, all connected by a highly configurable, real-time environment that automatically sends notifications to users and keep them informed of assignments and requests. The Building Management functionality allows property managers and staff to manage work orders, equipment maintenance, contracts and bookings.

The Resident Portal provides access to event information, service requests and even local discounts and services. The Concierge feature comes complete with parking management, amenity booking and package tracking. Support is offered via phone and email.

    Ease of Use Easy to Train All documents are in one place Everything we need as an association is here
    Cons:
    Dates are oldest first (who does that?) Service is spotty HOWEVER, after I posted my frustrations, the manager of customer service was right on it and the data was restored this very day. Can't ask for better than that except that their process be better so there was no need to escalate. They heard and are learning!

    Average features. Priced fairly low (now I know why). Fairly Intuitive. Menus are ability to search docs is nice. Online registration is good.
    Cons:
    We changed our payment services provider and contacted support a month before the cut over date. Calls to support and opening tickets went unnoticed. It is impossible to reach a live person. As the date came closer, we reached out to our Implantation Coordinator. After two weeks the response back was That's not my job, call your account representative. Still nothing. Opening support tickets did nothing. Our cut over date arrived and we managed to fix the main menu's link ourselves, but the dropdown still cannot be updated. An email forwarded to the Director of Customer Care, went unanswered. And we are still waiting for a call from support or anyone. Since this affects our HOA revenue, it should have been high priority. If called I would never recommend this vendor and would be happy to share our experience with any potential customers. Still Waiting.

    The product is fine, but if you ever need to speak with someone, it won't happen. I have not once had a smooth interaction with this company. Thankfully, I've only had to call them twice in the past year, but both times took more time and effort on my part than should ever need to be exerted. The first time, it took calling NUMEROUS times over a week, then finally getting clever and reaching out to the sales department, they always answer. The second time, currently dealing with, I have called and left 5 messages over two months. Still nothing. I've sent an email, nothing. If you want a service that you can never speak or correspond with anyone, pick them, otherwise, run.

    Website administrator for 285 resident HOA. I am a retired software engineer and volunteered to administrator the HOA website for our community.

    Site is organized well can assign permission levels based on folder has Board Member and Committe Member features
    Cons:
    document sort oldest first, resident directory sorts on first name template looks appropriate for retirement home, cannot change no support for contractor rating or voting
