About Dynamic Yield

Dynamic Yield is a personalization software designed to help businesses analyze user's online behaviour to deliver a personalized experience and run marketing campaigns using A/B testing, real-time analytics, conversion tracking, and more.

Dynamic Yield enables organizations to capture, store, categorize and synchronize data from multiple systems such as CRM, POS and DMP. Features include product/content recommendations, notifications, custom interactions, WYSIWYG editor, journey mapping, and more. Administrators can categorize the audience based on customer journey, offline purchases, digital interaction and third-party data to create targeted marketing strategies.

Dynamic Yield lets managers customize banners, call-to-action buttons, web page layout, menu items and more to deliver a personalized user experience across web, mobile, emails and advertisement campaigns. It supports integration with various third-party applications such as AppNexus, SendGrid, Google Analytics and more. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via phone, email and other online measures.

Pros:

I like that you can build templates in HTML, CSS and Javascript. It's also useful to have a very robust audience manager.

Cons:

I don't like that you can't pause an experience, the only option is to archive the experience instead of pausing it.

Powerful recommendation engine.Good customer care experience, we had some issues to use some of their widgets and their teams worked closely with us to solve this problems and manage a solution!

Cons:

Poor documentation. We need to rely a lot on costumer service to set up our recommendations and campaigns when we started.

The machine learning A/B tests were pretty cool and helpful to not set any bias input.

Cons:

It was not a perfect product. It had many issues and customer service was pretty poor when those occurred. Content and templates that would disappear from the listed scope, poor or non-existent implementation for native apps content. Difficult to use and learn...

Easy to learn and understand.Variables in templates make it easy to reuse and have other users who don't know code easily modify values themselves.

Cons:

It feels like there was limited options available to do various tests with our campaigns. That is the main feature I would say that is missing.

We've been using Dynamic Yield for about a year - one person on our team primarily manages the account and it has been a breeze! Dynamic Yield makes it very easy for us to deploy personalization throughout our entire website. We use it to serve highly targeted messages to boost engagement across our website, and it allows us to run A/B tests while we sit back, relax and allow machines to allocate traffic to the best performing variations.

Cons:

Some of the features provided in the platform user interface occasionally could be a little easier to understand.
