Easy to get overview. Automated GAP analysis between new and old compliance documents.Good graphical reports.

Cons:

Needs single sign on.Needs some improvement in the text based compliance reports.

Review for Adept

My overall experience with Adept is very good. Adept is a very good tool for compliance management and is currently a prerequisite for the company to maintain the rig's Acknowledgement of compliance.

Pros:

Adept is user friendly and gives a good overview over the compliance status in the company. Adept has high focus on customers and gives great and quick support.

Cons:

Adept works great for Compliance overview. When it comes to work environment and WEAC it would be beneficial if also tasks analysis could be included in the overview.

Reasons for choosing Adept

Adept offers a good overview over relevant requirements, the compliance status of our units and facilitates for several users to use the system simultaneously. It is easy to share outstanding assessments with relevant personnel for them to verify.

Good and the potential of the software is good. For our company it is down to knowledge and lack of day to day use of Adept that limits the benefit - not the software.

Cons:

On some steps it does require some 'clicking' and configuration. Report configurator could pherhaps have multiple Generis report setup available.

Pros:

Compliance management for the oil and gas industry is a very broad and complex matter, and the Adept tool has been a great help for us in managing this area in a good way, also demontrating control vs the authorities.

Cons:

As an aministrator I have not spent enough time to learn all the details for all functionality, and there are some complex functionality that we do not use (e.g. setup for technical checklists)

The best compliance software!

Adept is the best compliance database available. You can easily perform GAP analysis and track status on all relevant requirements.

All relevant requirements can be added and the company has a complete requirement library of all Laws, regulations and standards in one pace.

Cons:

Although you can make a link to technical documents and management system documents, I would like the software to also include a document library for all company specific documents.

Reasons for choosing Adept

The alternative was to perform GAP analysis and compliance reporting in Excel spreadsheets. Requirement documents (ie. regulations and standards) are constantly revised and it is impossible to track these changes in Excel.

That updated requirement documents are available and that you can gap old versions against newer versions to see the changes.

Cons:

There is not a simple system for reminding the users of updated requrements.

Effective and easy to use compliance handling tool

The challenge to be updated according to changes in regulatory framework is handled very effective by Adept solution. Successfully used in several challenging projects.

Pros:

The set-up of the system and all relevant laws, regulations standards located in one library/place. Always updated to latest versions. Easy delegation of responsibility and overview of tasks and status (dashboards). Support always at hand. Easy to create overviews, reports and e.g. Excel lists for export/import of data. "Complicated matter made easy!"

Cons:

Some reports are a bit slow to generate.
