Pros:
From the first hour I signed up, Adaptive provided amazing benefit to our AP/AR process as well as financial reporting. What took days was reduced to minutes. We’re a lean team, but with Adaptive we don’t need to add headcount. Bills, Invoices, and Labor rolls right into job costs and draws with no double entry, and I can bill accurately without the spreadsheet chaos. It's helped us grow, keep our cash flow tighter, and deliver cleaner documentation to our banks and clients.
Cons:
No complaints. After wasting money on other products offering the same level of capability, finding Adaptive was a game changer for us.

Reasons for switching to Adaptive

we used Procore + Smooth link for our draw process and every month we encountered issues generating the necessary documentation. Combined with the extremely high cost, switching to Adaptive reduced the work required each month, the headache, and the cost.

Adaptive helps us deliver better results — faster

Our clients used to struggle with manual cost tracking, billing delays, and compliance. With Adaptive, we’ve automated all of that. Pros:
We love the seamless integration with QuickBooks online as well as the two way sync that really helps with everything we need for our clients. The team is amazing to work with and so easy to get a hold of. It's our favorite product to work with for all of our clients and they love it to.
Cons:
We haven't had any issues using Adaptive and will continue to be using it with all of our clients because it is such a valuable software.

Not a thing, great software overall. Very useful for project budgeting, and invoicing. I strongly recommend

We build high-performance homes, and now our back office finally runs like one too. Adaptive helped us cut hours of manual work and build a system that scales as we grow. Everything’s automated, synced, and way more accurate. I only wish we’d made the switch sooner.

So easy to use and keeps bookkeeping clear and efficient for all team members. Customer support is great when we run into any issues.
Cons:
When I use the drop-down menus, it keeps tabs of the last things searched so when i go to type in another category, the saved searches drop down blocks the other list of items. i have to manually clear them out to see the list.

We’re a lean team, and Adaptive lets us do more without adding headcount. We started with just PO workflows and job costing, then added more as we went. Implementation was fast, easy, and didn’t require us to rebuild how we work. It’s made our whole financial process cleaner and way more scalable.
Cons:
We've really enjoyed integrating Adaptive into our daily workflow and don't really have anything negative to share.

Adaptive has been an invaluable tool for us as a small-to-midsize construction and design company. Our project managers can quickly and efficiently log and track expenses for their projects, saving time and overhead expenses of hiring additional personnel. Likewise, our subcontractors, too, have embraced the change as payment requests are hitting their accounts days, if not weeks, faster than before.

Very clean software and good for an all in construction company. Or full on remodeling company for day to day use
Cons:
It was more labor intensive than we anticipated. It’s really not a software for a mechanical company. It’s great for build plus customers.
