About Payoneer

Payoneer is a payment processing solution designed to help freelancers, service providers, eCommerce marketplace sellers, digital marketers and enterprises manage store payments, pay value-added tax (VAT) and streamline international business transactions from within a unified platform.

Using Payoneer, businesses can view, track and payments across multiple eCommerce marketplaces. Freelance consultants can request transactions from clients via bank accounts, cards or direct debit, among other methods. Additionally, the platform utilizes an application programming interface (API) to automate payment administration, reconciliation and initiation processes.

Payoneer lets professionals label stores to track performance and download payment data to analyze trends. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via FAQs, knowledge base, video tutorials and forums.

Freelance contractors are fleeing towards Payoneer faster than we think!

This has been a very reliant software that has provided me a safe and easy way to withdraw money as a freelance contractor. I truly believe this app is quite straightforward and I like that I can enable my Patreon to it since most subscription sites use payment apps that has blacklisted my country.

Pros:

One of the few online solutions that has Panama enabled which was the main reason why I am still working with them and also for their security levels. The learning curve is quite easy and I believe anybody can get used to it. Their customer support could benefit from spanish speaking providers since i live in LatAm. Transactions are quite fair, I can't complain and I use it most of the time for large amounts to at least feel like I am not cutting a huge slice of my pay.

Cons:

I am not a big fan of their card creation. I am quite confused about how to claim it because I have withdrawn over $10000 dollars in the past and I am still unable to get the card and this is affecting my expenses everytime I withdraw.

Pros:

Payoneer offers almost all the features available in PayPal. I like it since it did not have sending and receiving limitations when I started using it.

Cons:

Unfortunately, Payoneer does not integrate with prepaid MasterCard and Visa gift cards unlike PayPal.

Nothing ever since I became their client all I can see is lack of professionalism. They promise stuff they dont meet. And they are not user friendly at all.

Cons:

If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been unable to access $2,600 USD in my Payoneer account for over two weeks. I submitted all the documents they requested for verification, yet my account remains restricted. Every day, after long waiting times, an agent tells me that my case has been marked as urgent and will be resolved within 24 hours — but nothing happens. This has occurred more than 10 times. Because of these repeated delays and lack of follow-through, I have been unable to access my own funds, which I urgently needed for an upcoming family visit. This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Overall, this has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.

It used to be South African consumer friendly.

Cons:

Money was meant to be paid into my bank account [sensitive content hidden], it never happened. Unfortunately you cannot address this eith Payoneer as u are subjected to AI generated conversations & processes that judt loops & loops around. Payoneer has successfully engineered a way to steal your money without accountability and there is no way to address this.

The platform is robust and easy to use. They integrate well with other platforms and also offer multiple ways of sending and receiving payments.

Cons:

They have some weird policies and the customer service seems unprofessional and ineffective. They also have some weird policies which makes the customer support clueless on the cause of a problem and possible solutions.

A disaster when you hit a glitch

Maybe Payoneer is ok if you don't suffer any glitch in their system, but when you do, it's game over - you will lose. Their support are all bots - you will get the same response for weeks: in chat: "yes, we have all we need, I assure you we will resolve your issue", then later in email: "sorry, we could not resolve your issue, have a nice day". Escalation within the company is impossible, even via their formal complaints channel.

Say goodbye to your money

There is no safety net with Payoneer and if the recipient is dodgy, you can say goodbye to your money. They will not offer assistance with claim backs.

Payments are easy to make and fast. It appears easy to use. If working with a reputable party it’s as easy to use as WISE.

Cons:

Payoneer doesn’t offer any assistance if goods aren’t received. There is no ability to dispute a payment or open a chargeback. They state that ‘all payments are final’ and won’t assist in the case of any issues such as foods not being supplied.
