    SP Intranet builds on the Office 365 SharePoint environment. It is pretty much ready to go out of the box, so you save a ton of time building the thing from scratch. It neatly handles permissions so you can control who has access to what without tearing your hair out. If you don't have in house SharePoint developers, this is the fastest way to get a working intranet deployed.
    Cons:
    It's SharePoint - it's never going to be pretty or the best UX (although this is improving).
