MantisHub provides a cloud-based issue and bug tracking software service. It lets users create, assign and track issues and tasks through to resolution. Employees can also use the helpdesk plug-in to manage customer support issues all within one system. The application allows professionals to improve collaboration, efficiency and productivity in any business.

MantisHub enables IT professionals to track issues, tasks and software bugs. It offers a host of features such as customer support, reporting, a ticketing system, project management, time tracking, an activity dashboard, Kanban board, analytics and more.

MantisHub facilitates integrations with third-party platforms for chat, SSO, test management, source control and more. Pricing is available on a monthly or annual basis and support is extended via phone, email and other online measures.

    Intuitive, Easy, and as Powerful as you need to make it

    I've used several other issue management systems and all of them are clunkier, harder to configure, and just not nearly as intuitive to use as MantisHub. I don't think that you will find another product that is as powerful that is as easy to set up right out of the gate.

    Pros:
    MantisHub is extremely easy to set up and use. You can get an account and start entering tickets in 2 minutes from the login screen. Then you can gradually configure the workflow, add accounts, add company logo, add alerts, tags, versions, new projects, etc. as you need them or don't need them.
    Cons:
    Some of the menus and configuration settings are hard to find. The public/private project and issues can be a little confusing. Setting up the workflow (where does an issue go next, Closed, Validated, etc.) initially could be more visual rather than a sea of check boxes. It would be good to have local database backups.

    Great bug and project tracking software!

    This is the 2nd company I've used MantisHub with over 20 years of working in software that requires bug and multiple project tracking and management. I like the simplicity and user interface of MantisHub. Admittedly I don't use every feature it boasts but am willing to look around and learn more. For what it's worth ($) we get a lot out of it just tracking and reporting bugs and to-do items.

    Ease of interface although I'm a creative executive! Multiple possible features to use and incorporate into your small business regarding project management. Addition and management of team members abilities and tracking done in a flash.
    Cons:
    The UI for altering individual bugs / projects has several clicks and dropdowns to deal with before you can leave a note or comment and might could improve if you are revisiting the same issues and working fast. Sometimes if you write a long comment but need to alter the assignee or status, your note / comment isn't saved.

    They're convoluted and extra and more expensive for what we need to keep a good tracking/flow going.

    Reasons for switching to MantisHub

    We wanted a simpler interface that would be dedicated to bug tracking amongst a small team and ongoing project with multiple branches/mini-projects (small games). This software is perfect for utilizing just the bug tracking element/flow for small gaming teams. We love it!

    User experience is good, alerts are good, filtering and searching is good, customization is good.
    Cons:
    Price!! It is expensive. And there is no "vesting management" functionality.

    Good product for the money but not perfect

    We have been using MantisHub for 5+ years. It gets the job done at an affordable price. Really, if you've seen one bug tracking or ticketing system you've seen them all. Some are better than others. But really, you can't beat the price.

    MantisHub is very affordable and it is easy to setup. Most everything that a basic ticketing system requires comes out of the box. The fact that it is cloud based means we don't have to install it on our own server. I don't know of any other service that hosts Mantis in the cloud.
    Cons:
    The mobile user interface is not great. The text fields don't resize for mobile so there is vertical scrolling involved. I also don't think it is the most intuitive user interface. Not horrible, but not great either.

    We used Sharepoint in the past for documenting management and ticketing. We were not happy with the user experience in Sharepoint and got lots of complaints. So we moved document management to Box and moved ticketing and bug tracking to MantisHub.

    Highly Customizable Helpdesk and Ticket Tracker

    MantisHub is one of the best products that we've used. It outshines other helpdesk solutions, and is an amazing product build on top of MantisBT.

    Easy to set up and use, customisation was there to allow us to make the workflow our own. Setup was quick and we could customise easily for anything special we wanted.
    Cons:
    Looks very basic (i.e. not flashy/fancy) but does the job, although to be honest I think that's part of what makes this appealing, it just does what it says.

    Lower price, easier setup, team preferred it.

    Good tasks tracking system

    Issue tracking for IT product delivery. MantisHub is a good tool to log issues and needed developments, follow up on the progress and solve problems after delivery

    The layout of the system and how easy it is to find related tasks that were submitted. Its also a very good tracking tool on specific tasks since it allows the upload of multiple files per task and the section of comments which makes combines all related issues and the solution for one single task and therefore acts somehow as a log.
    Cons:
    Not easy to customize as only the admin was able to do that. but other than that it was somehow straight forward.

    MantisHub for Remote Teams

    MantisHub replace TeamTrack and Team Foundation Server. It is much simpler to mange, train and utilize in our process.

    Simple and integrates with our entire tool set using the API.
    Cons:
    The permissions are very configurable and work great for developers and testers. For managers and admins the permissions don't allow enough options. An admin can control the entire workspace, while a manager can control the projects, but when using MantisHub globally across departments some admin features are needed for the manager (create user) but this is an admin permission. Letting the manager be an admin allows them to change the workflow, which resulted in problems for us.

    Other programs were too complicated. Cost was a secondary requirement.

    The reason we chose Mantis is the ease of use. The minimal overhead and the scalability. After explaining the minimal functions (15 minutes), the users used it ever since!
    Cons:
    It does what we bought it for. It works so well, that we could imagine so many things it could do more for us.

    1. Very easy to get started. 2. Very inexpensive. 3. Highly responsive customer support. 4. Pretty basic but it just works.
    Cons:
    Some other vendors integrate with JIRA, not Mantis. We could outgrow Mantis if we grow sufficiently.
