Good but could be better (for us at least) !

Overall its good, there is room for improvement though. I feel like, as a company running multiple website, we are not the primary target.

Pros:

It was pretty easy to migrate from our infrastructure to this cloud provider. When help was needed, the support provided it. The pricing is also pretty fair.

Cons:

The user management needs a lot of improvements. Current version of databases (notably mongodb) could be bumped. A solution to share environnements variables across apps.

A Reliable and Developer-Friendly Platform with Room to Evolve

My overall experience has been very positive. Scalingo provides a stable, well-documented, and developer-friendly environment that makes deployments easy and predictable. While the interface could be more modern and feature-rich, the platform delivers on its core promise: reliable hosting with strong data sovereignty in France. I continue using it primarily because I need sovereign, France-based servers, and Scalingo fits that requirement perfectly.

Scalingo offers a solid, reliable platform with excellent documentation and a very smooth developer experience. The CLI is a real asset — fast, intuitive, and a major productivity booster. Pricing is also very reasonable compared to alternatives, especially given the sovereignty and hosting guarantees.

Cons:

The web interface feels a bit austere and lacks some advanced features that competitors provide. A more modern UI and richer dashboards or automations would significantly enhance the overall experience.

Already good but can be even better, hopefully

Interesting solution for teams who don't want to waste too much time on infrastructure problematics and focus on the business side. Though, I felt sometimes I didn't have enough visibility or control over what the server was doing, and some disturbances are frequently happening.

Nice PaaS solution with user friendly interfaces. Easy to setup via a github repository, with automatic deployment using CI/CD tools. Good choice of tools like PostGreSQL, OpenSearch, Redis, etc. HDS certification.

Cons:

A few incidents like a 1h downtime of the production server when switching from a 1 Go RAM database to 2 Go one, which was supposed to be zero-downtime operation. No official support for the Mercure protocol which allow realtime communication between client and servers. Pricing is high.

I am sadly missing team management features, but this is currently improving! The UI could be a bit more modern and clear, but I got used to it.

Great EU Vercel alternative

Somehow still feel more inclined to use Vercel over Scalingo. It feels like you pay more for less features.

Resides in the EU. That's a big plus and the main reason for using Scalingo over Vercel. Customer service has been good so far.

Cons:

The pricing. We've had some SSL issues, which are now resolved. But for those we had to reach out. Probably solved now, so no big deal.

Scalingo is easy to deal with. We can manage our applications easily. We can scale up and down with ease. Deployments are not a pain. The scalingo team is responding pretty quickly which is very good when you have a question about a specific service.
