About Cuez

Cuez is a web-based rundown solution designed for live production teams that allows them to create, collaborate and automate workflows. The platform is designed for industries such as esports, sports, news, entertainment, universities, live events and worship.

Cuez provides a centralized platform for teams to coordinate and execute live shows. It offers features such as collaborative script and rundown editing. The automator module lets creators control the show and broadcasting. Cuez also provides a web-based prompter which manages the on-camera performance. It also includes tools to control the timing and cueing of live shows.

Pros:

Tinkerlist is very user-friendly, and customisable to fit your way of working. What really stands out is the excellent customer service, there is always someone available on the live chat function if you have any issues or would like to change how something works. I use the software to write briefs and contribute to the show script, adding media is a breeze and I like the built-in photo editor.

Cons:

We had a few formatting issues which seem to have ironed themselves out for now.

Ik vind Tinkerlist erg intuïtief, prettig werken en overzichtelijk! Ik werk er elke dag met veel plezier, kunde en handigheid in omdat het voor ons programma helemaal is aangepast zo dat ik bij last minute nieuws snel en handig kan werken. En Tinkerlist kan je zoveel overzichtelijke informatie in kwijt waardoor je een goed dossier opbouwt! Niks aan te merken ga zo door Tinkerlist en veel dank voor zo een fijn systeem!!

Cons:

Soms vallen telefoonnummers weg maar dit bleek een software matig iets te zijn dat door onze adminstrator is opgelost!

- ease of use and implementation - easy to learn, even for people with no computer knowledge - Great team behind it, quick contact options

Cons:

Tinkerlist is focused on rundowns, which is great. But any other tasks like cost calculations or resource planning is not really in this app.

I like the fact that it's very intuitive, works smoothly and you can customize it to your own workflow. You almost can't loose your work thanks to auto save and history. Very good you can work simultaneously in the same sheet.

Cons:

The search function is very slow. There is no mobile app.

Production made much easier!

We haven't yet integrated it with EVS... so at the moment my feedback is based purely on the scripting aspect. But it's been a real asset for our production staff and has saved a lot of time and effort. We are delighted with it.

Pros:

Tinkerlist has made TV production easier, faster and simpler. The scripting software is easy to use and visually very simple to follow. Changes can be very quickly implemented, even while on air. The ability to upload content into the script gives everyone visibility and reduces errors. The autocue is also a real bonus.

Cons:

Possibly some tweaks to the timing of pre-recorded shows could help - adding on times for VTs that are not being played into the recording for example.

TinkerList automates more than half of our day-to-day tasks

Overall, I can't imagine producing our online show without TinkerList anymore. We used to store stuff in Excel, Google Drive and other locations and now everything is in one place. Nice experience!

Pros:

The onboarding experience was very smooth and we got a personalised demo from the customer support team. The software is very easy to use, we streamlined scriptwriting and file storage and now everybody can collaborate on scripts in real-time. It also has some nice prompter integrations.

Cons:

At first, it looked a bit overwhelming but we learned to use it pretty quickly. It's sometimes a bit slow (like twice a month) which is not a big deal.

This software is amazing for working in a medium sized team. A wide variety of people work with this program, and for every function it can be easily made clear what information is useful for them.

Cons:

We are having some difficulty that fields that are added later in the process, won't update well in questions that were already existing beforehand. A big reset for certain automatically filled in fields would have helped.

The ease of working in the same documents with multiple people. Next to that there are multiple easy ways to add design and to add features that everyone can use the same design.

Cons:

There are some small things that you have to learn before you can get the most out of the product.
