Great for large maintenance operations

Alldata was easy to use and had a lot of functionality, so much functionality that we were not able to utilize all of it so we ultimately switched to a lower cost provider because we are a smaller shop.

We liked how seamless the process was to integrate our Alldata repair data into our shop management software, the ability to easily switch between making estimates and invoices and reviewing repair procedures. For the most part, the program was responsive.

Cons:

Alldata was not an all in one solution for us and we still needed to purchase additional repair instructions even though our shop is on the smaller side and works mostly on older domestics.

The ease of looking at the history of a client is the thing I use and like the best .

Cons:

Some of the windows are Slow to load(might be our internet)

looking up parts and hours it takes to do the repair are the best. the customer service is excellent

ease of use and total control over all of your inventory over time sometimes its hard being so much cash is involved to know what parts are left on a unit especially if it was not entered correctly

Good Program for the most part....

Overall I would put this as the second best program we have found to ARI which is what we use now. But for the everyday mechanic or shop manager who is experienced shouldnt be a problem.

I really like Alldata's general knowledge for troubleshooting but the was some minor complications such as trying to find the correct category for certain things.

Confusing on categories when billing or doing shop orders.
