Make Origami with Your Data

Very positive. It's perfect for inquisitive minds at any level of organization. The speed to results is incredible. It puts you in charge of your data and story.

It's like origami! It allows me to slice and dice very efficiently. I can quickly filter through the whole dataset and also become aware of correlations.

Cons:

It took me a bit to figure out how to create my own variables, but that just might be me.

Loved this product from the outset

I'm relatively new to AddMaple but could immediately see the benefit to my work flow and delivering deeper insights to my clients. The tool is being developed on a daily basis which is exciting, so each time you login there is something new to discover!

Pros:

Makes quick sense of verbatim responses, with the full flexibility to 'overwrite' the AI suggestions. Subsequently, being able to analyse themes by other quantitative questions, drill down into the themes, assess sentiment are all a market researchers dream

Cons:

As with any new tool, I personally always get frustrated that I don't have the knowledge to use it's full capability but I need to learn to be more patient. That said, Ange and the team are always on hand to support. Looking ahead, it would be good to extract reports in my brand colours and be able to easily extract the analysis to input into my existing data analysis tools.

The best tool for quickly analyzing data—even for non-experts

I love how easy itwas to organize my data, explore it and share insights. Especially combining search criteria or pivoting tables made research so easy. In the past, we have to produre an Excl sheet for every quiery, which could take days. Not I can research tens of question in just a few minutes.

Addmaple is the best tool I’ve found to quickly analyse data, generate insights, and share them with my teams. Whether you're a data expert or not, it makes exploring your dataset incredibly easy. One of its standout features is the embedded AI analysis, which helps summarize and organize responses to open-ended questions—saving me days of work. I’ve used Addmaple on several projects at Greenpeace and as a freelancer, and it’s consistently delivered. Ange and the team have always been very responsive and supportive. Truly a no-brainer!

Cons:

I would love to be able to export the reports in a ppt, pdf or as jpeg files. In the last version I used, I needed to use "snipping" tools to capture the chart and copy them in a ppt. Not hard, but not the easiest.

AddMaple makes working with data fast, tasty, and good for you

I'm a early adopter of AddMaple, and have enjoyed working with [sensitive content hidden] and the team. They have been responsive and do seem to be actually customer focused. It's still a young system, and I expect it will continue to evolve for the better. I wish I'd had it in my last job when I had to struggle with SPSS. I think it would be great for enterprise users who have to deal with a lot of legacy formats and crufty data.

Pros:

The most striking thing about working with AddMaple is that it just makes it easy to get going working with all kinds of data. It makes the basics dead simple, and lets you get on with the more in-depth, more interesting things. I found it easy to see the breadth, depth, and shape of the data. I've used it for surveys and analytics data too.

Cons:

I'm not the biggest power-user as a mixed-methods research-team-of-one, but the one thing from having more engagement with earlier versions is that some of the more advanced ways of interacting with the data take a bit of learning how to set up in the interface, at least in the early versions I used more extensively. You should try out the tool yourself as it's continuing to evolve.

A game changer for none quants Mixed-Method Research and Open-Ended Analysis

As an old school quallie without a quantitative background tasked with running a mixed-method project—including a huge survey with numerous open-ended questions and hundreds of responses—Addmaple completely changed my perspective on what’s possible. But even more, what truly transformed my experience was the outstanding support, flexibility, and extraordinarily helpful guidance from [sensitive contnet hidden] and the team. This may very well make you reconsider your relationship with quant if your loathe to dip more than a toe in. I wanted a lot from this project, and they genuinely did everything they could to make it possible.

Senior research

I used AddMaple for my Senior research project. I am horrible with technology and I was incredibly stressed about getting my project done. I panicked and scoured the Internet for something I could use to help me with my data and I am so lucky I found AddMaple. It was incredibly easy to use, and I say that as someone who is usually hopeless with this stuff. Using AddMaple really helped to relieve some of my stress with the project and I was able to complete it in time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, but especially students. Also, after I canceled my subscription once I graduated, the AddMaple team reached out to congratulate me on my graduation and thanked me for leaving a kind message in my ‘reason for cancelation’! Great software, even better customer service!

It is very easy to use. I am someone who usually needs help with software like this but even I had no trouble using it. It really helped to ease the stress of my college senior thesis!

Cons:

It was overall great. There are no cons that I could think of. The only slight downside is that I had to pay in order to access all of my data, but since it was for my Senior research project (as a college student), I was willing to pay. Even so, I think the price was reasonable and it’s understandable that they charged.

I was so glad when I found AddMaple, because it allowed me to quickly and easily explore data as part of finishing my PhD. I found it so much more intuitive and user friendly than the statistics program I was using (SPSS).

Cons:

I would have liked to have more visualization possibilities; the opportunity to construct graphs/charts for export
