About WebCargo

WebCargo is an air cargo booking and pricing platform that provides freight forwarders with instant access to real-time air cargo rates and booking connectivity across several airlines. This allows forwarders to quickly price, quote, and book air freight for their customers.

The platform offers a single source for managing global freight pricing. It combines static and live rates across 300 air carriers, giving forwarders control over their freight pricing. WebCargo's sales portal enables forwarders to generate quotes, manage sales, and provide customers with instant rate distribution and real-time connectivity for online freight sales.

In addition to booking and pricing, WebCargo provides market intelligence tools like the Freightos Baltic Index to track global shipping rates. The company also publishes monthly reports on digital air cargo trends to help forwarders stay informed. WebCargo can integrate with forwarders' existing transportation management systems for seamless rate management and booking.

It would be great to be able to book direclty for all destinations and airlines in order to book more

satisfied, but some things should be more clear. for example the surcharges. when we look up DG quote, I have to go back to find out the DG charge of that airline in the surcharges, then re-do the quote and add the empty line with that surcharge

live booking, tender tool, rate sharing on published and local charges. quotations look nice and understandable for customers

Cons:

rate sharing between offices on airfreights and locals should be mandatory. now my overseas office don't do it, and that limits our use of the system.

focus on ony 1 platform, as else the benefit of all airlines in 1 system is gone. Also HQ focussed luckily on Webcargo.

what makes web cargo unique is the kind of connect they have with all the major airlines. the visibility of rates & market update is something we look forward to. Also it outline the unique competitive advantages that WebCargo brings to our air freight planning and operations, emphasizing why this platform is critical to how we manage flow and secure the best options for our clients.

Cons:

It only gives an idea of the airlines tariff, the actual selling rate is way different from the published. This makes reliability on WebCargo difficult

To have most of the rates in one place , easy to use and to make search for rates

Cons:

Not all carrier rates are loaded automatically, but I have to send the price list myself. The graphics before the update were much better and easy to understand

Lack of multiple flights schedules for individual airlines for the same date (some airlines offer multiple ETD's per day, but WebCargo only offers one ETD)

the easy way to check carrier rates and booking issuance, also following up the shipment schedule. its easy to use.

Cons:

Carrier restrictions can not be found within the web. no options to check within the web the carrier chosen restrictions (weight and/or routes closed)

If you can’t easily see weight limits or route blocks before you try to book, that’s a problem. Easy to use, fast quote and bookings, great webpage to confirm and make our shipments the best and fastest of them

Cons:

alot of rates are not available, and missing more airlines with rates, sometimes the page blocks between using different menus

fast and easy way to check several airline possibilities

I like it and I use it every day :-) we have a lot of spot quote requests and this is an easy way to find a solution

easy to check several airline possibilities in one click, more and more airlines has become possible to check on the portal

it is difficult to find the correct commodity descriptions if you for instance have dangerous goods with temp requirements or dry ice shipments etc.

Friendly and ease of use! The new user interface is a good choice for the users. It is a good platform !

Cons:

Sometimes we face some challenges when peak season and data team is very busy so the rates are uploaded out of time but appreciate the support and understanding the needs when I push them to get it faster.
