Great experience with ins2outs compared to other QMS's

Overall my experience has been extremely positive with ins2outs compared with other QMS's. I like that the document flow is similar to a typical document editor. I like that it doesn't lag or drop work too often. Generally its just really easy and smooth to use.

- Easy to use - Easy to link documents - SSO enabled with our SSO system - Easy to assign and manage tasks - GREAT audit trails and traceability - Very few lags in documents opening and saving, very little lost work

Cons:

There are specific features that are missing: - Requirement level traceability - Ability to move documents to other folders without dragging and dropping over and over - Summaries of document/user status exported to CSV This is probably a long term update but parallel editing and the formatting of documents could definitely be improved

Pros:

It is a visual and intuitive system with alot of features such as hyperlinking, which make it easy to use.

Cons:

The templates are still very software as a medical device based, but there are apparently new ones on the way.

Reasons for choosing ins2outs

Due to ease of use, price, and features. The client chooses, but I will often help select based on their needs, future plans and budgets etc. Normally I present about 3 to 5 options.

Pros:

The tool contains a clear overview of the history of each document, it is user-friendly, there are clear file overviews, and the performance is efficient and typically quite fast .

Cons:

Since the latest updates, it is difficult to see if tasks have been handled or not. This makes it difficult to track specific workflows.

In general very positive. We appreciate the cooperation with Star Team whose responsiveness and engagement is very satisfactory. Our feature/change requests are taken into consideration and implemented. ins2outs allowed us to pass the ISO 13485 certification without any nonconformities and significantly reduced the QMS preparation time in our organization.

simplicity and being user-friendly, know-how set

Cons:

folder management (their statuses, moving files, no possibility to mark multiple files). Management and creation of document type "Process". Lack of QMS admin function allowing ownership, check-ups and workgroup management (without changing the document version)

Quality and Regulatory user review

A very positive and supportive team. Ins2out support quickly reacts to any reported issues or needed functionalities. The tool is constantly modified to add new features. Responsiveness and engagement are very satisfactory.

A user-friendly interface, simple workflows, know-how set, and template availability help set up quality systems.

Cons:

Folder management (status, moving files) and 'Processes' editing are quite complicated and not intuitive. Lack of QMS administrator function with a broader range of access (check up, work-group management).
