Really Happy to Discover LimeWire

After issues with my phone and transferring files with the cable. My USB-C connection isn't working any more. LimeWire is the best way for me to transfer files wirelessly...really helped me out of a spot.

Pros:

Love LimeWire... My phone had issues and I'm in a country where we have to get over a "firewall". I needed a quick and easy way to transfer files from my computer to my phone wirelessly. LimeWire works quietly in the background with files transfers while I can work on my phone. Also allows me to share files with clients easily too...was using WeTranfer for this in the past. Now I think it'll be LimeWire all the way.

Cons:

Not too much...I just needed a few minutes to figure how best to use it. It's mostly pretty intuitive.

File transfer made easy

I have a combo of iOS devices, Windows, Linux and Mac, sometimes transferring files is a nightmare, but using LimeWire simplified so much this task.

I found LimeWire when searching for a simple file transfer service and since then I couldn’t stop using it, LimeWire made my file transfer experience easier.

Cons:

I don’t have faced any problem with LimeWire yet, so no cons. Maybe the lack of ads to make me find it sooner.

limited since I don't really understand why I can't generate images with AI. I have looked at Youtube videos to learn how to use the program but nothing available is up to date enough to help

I wanted to create AI images which is why I looked into the product. What I was looking for was BlueWillow AI which looked like how I wanted to use the program

Cons:

I can find what I want to do on the site. I want to generate images from text but I don't understand how to access that or even if that is a feature since Limewire took over BlueWillow AI

Effortless fitness-video sharing with friends

I’ve been using LimeWire for about a month to share fitness videos with a close group of friends. We just send a LimeWire link and call it a day. If you regularly send large media files to a small circle, LimeWire Pro’s generous limits and clean UI are a solid upgrade—just expect the occasional slow upload during peak hours.

Pros:

Huge per-file limit means I can upload full-HD workout videos without compressing; friends just click a link. Drag-and-drop UI is dead simple, and uploads resume if my connection drops.

Cons:

No native mobile app yet, so I still use the browser on my phone. Peak-hour uploads slow down a bit.

Reasons for switching to LimeWire

I switched from WeTransfer because its free tier’s 3 GB per-file limit and 3-day expiry kept forcing me to compress or re-upload my 5-10 GB fitness-training videos. LimeWire gives me a far larger file-size ceiling, links that don’t disappear after a few days, resumable uploads, and end-to-end encryption—so sharing high-quality workout footage with friends is faster, more private, and way less hassle.

Very Happy with LimeWire

Only took me about 5 minuets to be start using it with easy. Uploaded to ~ 350 mb videos to share with associates in my business. Great tool

LimeWire beating the competition.

This is really great and remarkably easy to use; I've found it helpful that I have it bookmarked in my browser for use, which ultimately makes the entire process quite fast and easy to complete whenever I need to.

Pros:

As a creative business owner, I've found LimeWire superior to WeTransfer, which has become less desirable due to its increasing popularity and limiting fetures. LimeWire's free tools simply outperform the competition.

Cons:

When uploading a folder, the contents are seperatly uploaded instead of the folder itself, which can be confusing when it has a lot of contens. ONE thing i would add is that an app would be a fantastic addition.

Is LimeWire for you ?

I am very pleased with my experience trying LimeWire. It's my go to solution for "share and forget" projects with a short life span.

Pros:

LimeWire is straightforward to setup. It does what it claims, make it possible to share large files instantly and it deletes it automatically later.

Cons:

LimeWire is limited to 4 GB in its free version, which by today's standard is low. In comparison, Google is offering 15GB. In addition, Limewire (in its free version) will delete your files after a week which is not the case for Google.

I don't trust Google anonymity. Also, Google asks you to create an account to use the service.

Great File Sharing Site

I am loving it. It is so fast to upload and the files I am sending to radio stations as I work as a freelance radio presenter and journalist are there for the stations to download

It is so easy to use and there are no hoops you have to jump through to be able to upload the file that you want to upload.

I haven't found any problems yet at the moment

I switched from Wetransfer as they moved features from the free version like being able to send a message via the e-mail or even the 7 days before the file disappears have now gone behind a paywall
