About MRI Commercial Management

MRI Commercial Management is built for commercial property managers. It offers real-time, actionable data which can be used to manage assets, all from the secure Alloy platform. Commercial Management (CM) clients include managers of industrial and office space, as well as shopping centers.

MRI Commercial Management automates many of the necessary, daily tasks related to commercial property management, from recovery and late fee calculations to billing. It's also highly configurable; users have access to the same tools the developers use in order to customize the solution to the company workflow.

The solution's core module, CM, manages operations—accounting, lease administration, reporting and more. The Viewpoint module provides consumable summaries of property and portfolio status.

LeaseFlow aids the entire leasing process, while CM Electronic Lockbox was designed to process information straight from the bank. Its rule engine lets users specify exactly how payments need to be applied across the organization. MRI also offers additional features for small to midsize businesses and retail properties.

Was a steady and solid software.

We utilized quite a large suite with them from MRI Financial to tenmast to tendocs.

Support was very quick to get back to you when you were in need for an end user.

Cons:

Support for the citrix environtment was on MRI side vs on our side so we had to open tickets instead of allowing us tojust help an end user.

Good, but not great

Overall, I think it is a good product. Good, but not great. It worked very well when we were smaller but as we grew, it didn't feel like the software grew with us.

I loved the report batching. The reports were aesthetically pleasing and required little manipulation before being able to be published

Cons:

The software felt clunky. I felt like I could only best use it when actually logged into a laptop. I didn't feel like the "on the go" functionality was there. It did not always interface with some of our other products well. I think that caused the productivity to suffer because we spent to much time making it work

Solid software

Generally speaking, a good software company, they have been around for a long time and are likely to be around for a long time to come. It seems like property management software shifts every 10 - 15 years. in the early 2000's, MRI was the software to beat in the CRE space.

Pros:

The user interface is very friendly. This is an SQL based program and the file structure is very organized making it easy to write queries.

Cons:

We stopped using MRI in 2018 because the software didn't seem like it was getting updated as frequently as competitors.

When we chose MRI, they had better offerings than Yardi and better pricing.

Pros:

The product now has an online platform that makes it a lot easier to search, navigate etc. MRI has come a long way to develop a great product.

Cons:

If you want something customized it will cost you, I wish they were able to assist their current customers more in providing reasonably priced modications.

Terrible product. STAY AWAY!

Horrible. We have spent more than $100k on this rubbish product that has cost us business. Our auditors have huge issues with it. Stay away!

The software is poorly designed and difficult to learn.

Although the list of features is lengthy, they do not go together well. General ledger is very old style and data entry needs a lot of attention. Consistent charges for assistance hurt the value proposition. Not a well developed program.

Customer support is fairly well done. They generally understand the issues and return calls promptly.

Cons:

The basic design for the software is old and goes back to the 1990’s. Ease of use suffers User interface is weak, often doesn’t follow Windows standards, and needs attention Features often seem to be a “tack on” to the basic program Many listings are organized by key code, not description, so you have to remember what codes mean. Ongoing charges for assistance, necessity to write your own reports or get charged to have them written. Weak sorts and filters on current reports. It is hard to learn, hard to use, and it is a big struggle to get anything done. Help is not tied to a given control, but rather to the help manual in general. There is little or no onscreen or popup help available. The program is a monolith, with no instances of excellent design.
