About Nomos One

Nomos One is a lease management and lease accounting software solution designed to help businesses manage large asset portfolios with ease. The platform comes with an event tracking module, which lets users create custom events for inspection/maintenance and receive reminders for renewals, commencements, expiry, rent reviews or variations.

Nomos One includes an International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) 16 compliant accounting module, which enables professionals to create asset categories and update discount rates, rent increase, incentives and payment details across portfolios. Features include notifications, depreciation calculation, dashboards, custom data fields and multi-user access. Additionally, organizations can create, update, modify and store documents/contracts in a centralized repository for future reference.

Nomos One allows managers to gain insight into balance sheets, historic/forecast data, interest schedules, financial compliance and revaluation of leases via analytics and interactive reports. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via phone, email and other online measures.

Pros:

The Nomos One team is top class with excellent customer service providing easy to access implemention and day to day support. The software has many functionalities that you will need to meet disclosure and accounting requirements for lease accounting.

Cons:

The transition in the underlying engine supporting lease calculations did leave old reporting features missing that will be brought back in the future.

Extremely happy with the operation of Nomos One. Current information at your fingertips when checking on invoicing, events etc. As long as events are appropriately loaded into the system, efficient reminder process ensures events are handled in a timely manner.

Pros:

The availability of information at a glance. The split portfolios allow records to be arranged in a pracatical manner and are easy to access. Documentation is attached to various records to assist in property management activities - information at a glance!The Nomos One Knowledge Base is extremely helpful if you become stuck on how to do something not previously experienced.

Cons:

Have difficulty in extracting accurate detailed reports, however, this could probably be resolved with some additional training.

Reasons for choosing Nomos One

Perceived ease of use and relative to our needs. Also had the additional of the International Financial Reporting System functionality which will eventually be implemented by Government for Departments.

It does provide a good management over portfolio of properties and lease management

Cons:

Not much Accounting and reporting capabilities. Not able to download reports directly, have to reach out to Support team for everything which is very inefficient and time consuming.

We like Nomos One as part of accounting where leases are tracked in terms of what are expiring, almost due and overdue. The reports are useful as well as this form part as a schedule in our reports. Leases are easy to set up and modify when needed. Most importantly, the customer service is so helpful when there is an issue encountered.

Cons:

Nomos One usually works in Chrome and not in Internet Explorer or Edge. So, need to have Chrome updated all the time.
