We LOVE ChowNow!

Here at Classic Rock Coffee Co. & Kitchen, we have never had an issue with ChowNow, and we've been partnered with them for almost 6 years!

Pros:

ChowNow is easy to use, reasonably priced, and integrates perfectly with our POS system (Toast). Not to mention, they employ some very kind people who are willing to help with whatever you need. It is a great and easy way to increase revenue for your business.

Cons:

The User Interface of the ChowNow Dashboard can be a little confusing at times but serves its purpose and offers many helpful tools.

Build Customer Loyalty With ChowNow

Over the years i've seen changes that have improved the platform and keeps me connected to my customer base. The addition of customer loyalty programs and updated website features have been a bonus. Customer Service is top tear. Overall, I've had a great experience.

I've been with Chownow for 4 years. I love everything about the platform- the App, Order Management, and the Customer Loyalty Program.

Cons:

I was able to create email marketing in the past. I no longer see that option. That was a bummer. I would love to see this added or something else put i place to create equal value. There are some huge fees added that i can't explain to the customer. An example.. I had a customer to place an order from my website, for pickup. the order total was $60 dollars and the additional fee was $18.

I've been on the platform for 4 years and i've seen the growth and customer reach. I like the look of the online platform and app and I can easily update them both at the same time.

Solid platform, but missing features keep it from being great

Pros:

The service is solid. It rarely goes out or has any issues. The menu editor online works well and is easy enough. The price is good for any place starting out that wants to offer online ordering but doesn't know how well it will work for them.

Cons:

Lack of updates. Lack of new features. The online portal has said "try our new dashboard" coming soon for about 3 years. Still can not get basic sales reporting about items or categories. Customer service is a bit rough as well. Not all calls will end with your issue being resolved with out having to talk to another person first.

Reasons for choosing ChowNow

At the time it was the leader in what was offered, and the price was right.

Ease of ordering for customers and ease of understanding ordered and needed. Tickiets indicate exactly what to bageading to fewer mistakes

Cons:

Cost. The cost of using ChowNow service continues to go up every time we renew. This is disturbing since most post systems can do online ordering now

The overall value received for the money is a definite plus, especially with the premier pkg. Customer service team is outstanding.

Cons:

Not having control over the online ordering platform to make changes immediately to the website is one disadvantage. The delivery drivers usually take longer to accept orders especially in our area.

all services are good. management dashboard is easy to use. website controls items for me as to popular items as in they force up the menu items that sell most so ease for customers that dont want to scroll

Cons:

except system is antiquated you can not do a subdivision in sub categories and as mentioned above forcing items up list to popular items has a downside that perhaps if they had scrolled they might have purchased something else lastly they used to do email blasts and took that away forcing me to do it

Do better on menus. Add promotions attractive on the page.

3.5/5.0. The most hate I talked about already above for the menu editing. Please fix the issue. Our salmon options keeping being taken off from the menu fo no reason. Customers called us to ask how come we don’t have salmon. It caused losing customers. If you can not fix it, we have to think about change partnerships

Lower cost on commission comparing to other platforms such as ubereats, grubhub. Also you can add the link button on your own website.

Cons:

Menu is bad. Keep having technical issue. Some of options are keeping being disappeared. We have to spend so much time on editing these back to menus. And all the promotions not showing on the ordering page to attract customers’ eye.

We love the ease of use when it comes to updating our menu, hours, holidays, etc. Customers also love how easy it is to follow the menu and place an accurate order.

Cons:

Sometimes it is hard to get a hold of a customer support representative quickly. We often have questions during a busy dinner rush and have to go through an automated system.
