Pros:

We were a customer of TrustPilot for many years, and sadly we couldn't trust them! They continued to raise prices at an exponential amount with lower and lower support; and their interface was sorely in need of updates. Our requests and suggestions about how to improve their offerings were ignored completed. And worst of all they became an agent of extortion in many situations when rotten clients would posting extortion level reviews. Even when we showed admin at Trustpilot that the client was threatening to leave terrible reviews if we didn't give them discounts of 50% off our products Trustpilot refused to remove these bad reviews. Trustpilot also had so many reviews being posted about products that we don't sell at all. We are a jewelry manufacture and we'd have almost daily posts from people saying they liked the TV that we sold them... To have these removed was such a waste of time and admin at Trustpilot could do nothing about it. Overall it was a horrible nightmare working with Trustpilot.

Cons:

Verified Reviews was less expensive, near-instant support for questions or any issues we had in using their system. We have zero fake reviews being posted, no spam, simple monthly fee, SEO ranked, my staff love the interface, it's a 100x's better than Trustpilot!

Reasons for choosing Verified Reviews

Super support, very fast communication, monthly simple fee at a reasonable rate. Very good software and UI, great logic for reviews. Our clients don't need to register to leave reviews.

We don't like anything about Verified Reviews. It is slow and glitchy, the user interface could be better, support is non-existent, and better options exist. We only heard from their support team when they had an issue with our credit card.

They blame Google for all of the issues, and then they tell us that we have to deal with Google. When we call Google, they tell us the issue is with Verified Reviews. The service hasn't worked for over 6 months. They expect us to continue paying for a service that doesn't work. They refuse to accept responsibility for their product. Half the time you can't log in to the system, It randomly redirects you back to the login page.

Sometimes the Product Reviews did not show correctly on my website. However, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and the staff at Verified Reviews were very accommodating and responsive to fix the problem. They were FAST and EFFECTIVE at fixing the problems.

Ease of use and straight forward. They were able to port Amazon Seller reviews to my store. Reasonably Priced.

Cons:

The way Google picks up the Verified Reviews and displays them on the Search Results is not obvious. It would help if there was an explanation for that.

The customer service is truly a disgrace, as a german speaking customer you will be absolutly looked over, nobody will care for you, your emails wont be answered, your calls will end nowhere, their hotline is literally not answering any calls its just disgusting. Do yourself a favor and chose ANYBODY but not them

Amazing for the price

They offer all the same functionality as some of the bigger names in the reviews market for a better price. Their staff are friendly and have been extremely helpful on the rare occasions I've needed to speak to their support.

Pros:

A very simple interface that's intuitive to use. They also have a Magento integration that looks great, and they were amazing at providing support for this. Auto-moderation for reviews under a certain score is brilliant.

Cons:

The only issue I find is being required to send at least one message to the customer before requesting the removal of a review. I understand why this exists, but there are rare occasions it's not needed. Minor nit-pick really.
