Modern Technology, Open Standards, choice in delivery, flexibility and cloud portability. On flexibility this software can be procured as a traditional software license and installed on-premise, subscribed to and delivered from cloud to our choice or deployed in a hybrid combination of both cloud and on premise.

With Oracle Procurement Cloud the enterprises will gain a more efficient and influential procurement organization that helps keep costs under control by selecting the best in class suppliers, enforcing policy and managing risks Eg. Segregation of duties, role based access control, SOX Compliance can be implemented. Procurement cloud offers a complete functionality for companies of all sizes and shapes, from sourcing to contacts to purchasing to supplier management. With Oracle Procurement cloud, one can assess supplier's compliance with financial stability, regulatory standards and company code of conduct. Further, one can select qualified suppliers for sourcing events and ensure up to date profile with automated update alerts. Oracle Procurement Cloud helps in guided authoring and terms libraries simplify document authoring in Sourcing. Short cycle to author, review and approved quotations. Short and automated bid analysis shortens time to award and increases cost savings. Built in social collaboration allows cross functional team input and faster approvals. Embedded analytics monitor bidding process. Award Recommendation based on user defined criteria enable faster time to value Deviation monitoring in Contracts spotlights specific language changes to minimize review effort. Procurement Contracts are managed in searchable repository with amendment tracking and automated expiration alerts. Reduces off contract buying through a consumer like self service application

Cons:

Oracle Cloud procurement is fairly new. It is not completely stable yet, though it is making rapid progress. The customer support can be improved. There is scope for improvement in user experience. The existing functionality is rich, however it can be further improved and enriched.

Pros:

The best feature in my opinion is the copy to checkout option which allows you to use previous requisitions to make it faster for recurring charges or similar categories

Cons:

I think they could improve the software by having a search bar for key words in the category codes and account numbers such as "cleaning supplies" etc rather than just having to scroll them
