About One Chat

One Chat is an all-in-one messaging service that provides individuals and businesses with a centralized interface to communicate with users across different social accounts. It allows Mac users to communicate across WhatsApp, Slack, Instagram, Gmail, Telegram, HipChat, Discord, Facebook Messenger, Google Hangout, LinkedIn and more.

It provides a scheduling module, which enables individuals to pre-determine the date and time for sharing messages with users across different social channels. Users can attach, send and receive photos, videos or files in different formats on a drag and drop interface It also offers an iPad application, letting users receive in-app notifications, view notification badges for each messaging service, lock the application with a passcode or Touch ID, and more.

Other features include custom GIFs, notifications, multiple account configurations and more. It is available for free and on one-time licenses. Support is extended via email and chat.

Pros:

there are many communication apps in one so that I can talk with different clients from different apps at the same time, and I don't need to switch to different application all the time

Cons:

as I have clients from worldwide, I have so many different communication apps. but One Chat has mostly the app we use in the europe only. I hope it can add some apps, for example Line

bought one chat and upgraded to one chat pro. now my app can't be used anymore.

if you don't mind one day (just 1-2 years) that apps can't be used anymore, the apps supports all the functions.

Cons:

be leftover soon and app can't be used at all.

A little clunky but does the job better than most

One Chat has made communication a little easier all round in life. Due to using several different platforms or websites for communicating, it's a lot easier to stay up to date, reply quicker, and make sure to not miss anything. I've never had any reliability issues.

Pros:

The amount of integrations available and the level of detail this includes is something I'm yet to find in other free – or even paid – software. Because of this, it really does become 'One Chat' and does exactly as it suggests.

Cons:

The application can at times be clunky and slow. I'm running the app on a fairly powerful MacBook, and even then the whole laptop can be affected by the power required to run the app. This is not a deal breaker, and something that I would "put up with" in order to have access to the features. It would be nice for the overall feel to be smoother and quicker though.

Pros:

Get your chats in one single lightweight app. Way less power consuming than your Web Browser. Stay focused on your chat if you use it professionnaly.

Cons:

Some more keyboard shortcuts would be welcome. A mini window mode display would be cool.

Very simple to use. Changed my relationship with social networks. Now, I can see everything that happens and interact in one place. Impressive.

Cons:

Connectivity to Linkedin is missing. Whastapp is very bad for videos (slow and often the video does not open) in Brazil, but this should be a Whatsapp problem and not the software in question.

One Chat saves the day!

Instead of having to install many different clients on my work computer in order to stay in touch with my child, my husband, Facebook, my clients, and my coworkers, I can install this one program and have everyone in one place.
