About OpCon

OpCon is a cloud-based workload automation platform, which helps businesses create workflows for recurring tasks processing across various operations, infrastructure or virtual environments. Features include Service Level Agreement (SLA) management, remote access, auditing, version control and customizable branding.

Using OpCon self-service module, staff members can create events using predefined templates, execute a variety of automated tasks such as password resets, employee onboarding or event-triggered emails and receive job completion notifications. Supervisors can use the dashboard to track performance of various processes in real-time through colored indicators and symbols, categorize jobs using tags and receive alerts for issues affecting compliance with SLAs. It also helps stakeholders deploy updated workflow versions across servers by applying transformation rules.

OpCon offers integration with third-party platforms such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Fiserv, ServiceNow, Sage and more. Pricing for the solution is available on request and support is provided via email, phone and forums.

    Automation Platform

    We are automating our process for the printing so that we don't have to manually run the process for the output. OpCon did that work on it's own. We only have to setup the automation process as per our requirements.

    With the multiple options available to automate the process and it's capability to connect with the database or the directory to get the files so that to automatically run the process to get the output.
    Cons:
    It's very complicated and only the professionals or the experience user can use it with ease. Only the experienced one can automate the process and can evaluate the .project in a perfect way.

    Impossible without OpCon

    I enjoy my experience with OpCon. I have the information needed to troubleshoot any issues or identify process improvements when needed. We have a great partnership with the MAS Team and it is easy to create and make adjustments to automations at any time.

    What I appreciate most about OpCon is the visibilty it gives us on our processes, whether it's the ability to view jobs 7 days prior and 7 days ahead or to view the output to fully understand all aspects of the jobs.
    Cons:
    I wouldn't say there is anything I dislike.

    Powerful automation

    The software itself is very powerful and allows you to automate a lot of things, that you didn't even think, could be automated. It can even perform jobs based on the emails, received into the monitored inbox. In addition to that, the software support team is very friendly and knowledgable. They helped me a lot with a number of problems / errors via remote sessions.

    It seems that this product has no limits. I have only used it for several months, and was able to automate a great number of manual processes. Easy to use, once you get a concept of schedule / job relationship. I am a big fan of automation. OpCon so far has been the best application that I've worked with
    Cons:
    Not for everyone. You have to have scripting knowledge and sometimes get creative, think outside of the box, to get the job done. But if you possess those skills, you'd be amazed what this software can do for you.

    Opcon changed the way we do business. Any new platforms are evaluated for automation with Opcon before even being considered for purchase.
    Cons:
    Only current con is SMA's new license model our yearly cost for maintenance is more than doubling.
