Verizon Networkfleet is an end-to-end GPS tracking and telematics provider. The system provides a way for business owners to track fleet information, generate reports, track assets, and more, from anywhere in the USA and Canada, and at any time of day. With a suite of features available, Networkfleet can help track maintenance, organize fleet vehicles, and more. 

For fleet maintenance, Verizon Networkfleet syncs directly with the vehicle’s main computer, allowing it to pull data related to mileage, fuel use, routine maintenance emissions, and a wide array of other reporting to understand overall vehicle health. Business owners can easily use the system to see the location of each member of their fleet at any given moment, as well as view the condition of the vehicle and the current speed.

Companies can track vehicle and driver performance over a dedicated period of time with data stored for up to a year. As more and more data becomes available, managers can assess the overall performance of their fleet, and make any necessary changes to make better fleet decisions.

Great GPS tracking solutions for fleet based businesses

HIghly recommended product from a strong name in the industry.

Pros

Plug and play hardware. Affordable price and easy to manage administration. Reporting and maintenance records make this product useful to many company departments.

Cons

When cell data goes down, service can be interrupted. Setup can take some time but that's typical with any new software.

I am a huge fan of Verizon's. I really do not have much more to say about that .

Pros

It was already loaded on the phone for me. The apps have not changed much over the years son it is very familair

Cons

It is traditionally very slow. It is a little outdated. Hard to navigate through as well .

NO Customer Service. We were guaranteed 24 hour callback, but they never call back! Software is user unfriendly! Menu system is not at all intuitive. Cell phone App either crashes or tells me that my Vehicles and Assets cannot be found. Will not save my password, so I have to login every time I use it. Paying for premium package, and it is not as good as discount system that you get from AMAZON. Cannot be used with aftermarket alarm systems. Now I am tied into a 3 year contract and the product is useless.

We use this in our 60+ service vans on the road, as well as our company cars. It works well and the settings can be tailored to your needs. It can be set up to send out a text alert when you are speeding or too much idle. The app makes it easier to see where your coworkers are so in the case of emergencies or checking ETA's.

Pros

The app, visibility of where your fleet is for dispatch

Cons

Make sure you set the speed cap to something that is feasible to driving. For ex: 80mph on the highway will generate a lot of text messages or emails of speeding, but setting the cap at 82mph will alleviate that.

Advice to Others

Make the switch if your company provider would be Verizon.

They were doing ok before a little overpriced GPS system but it was OK after they change the map from Tom Tom to Mapquest it's really the worse thing ever happened you will have the hard time getting satellite image on your vehicle and the map looks like shit. It looks like it's designed for 5 years old kids to play just not worth it. I wish didn't have the contract so I can sign with another company.

The Roadside assistance is worth it

The Map is not good

Advice to Others

If they keep the Map Quest look for another GPS company.

When it is working it tracks the vehicles well. Additionally the roadside service is a nice feature.

Likes Least

Customer service sucks. Very hard to get someone on the phone.

Recommendations

Go with another company that has better customer service. Eventually something will break and when it does your frustration will be magnified by your inability to reach a human.

Nothing! For five years the service was everything that you would expect, then Verizon took over the company.

Likes Least

Customer service is terrible. No internal communications inside the company. Everyone contradicts each other.

Recommendations

Try fleetmatics. Our vehicle drops off the map on a regular basis and is difficult to track.

The product is GREAT! Not one complaint. Would and have recommended to others. However, the customer service depart is terrible. Wait times are ridiculous! No one seems to know what they're doing.

CUSTOMER SERVICE. Worst people I have ever dealt with. Wait times exceed longer than 15 mins. No one knows what they are doing or talking about.
