Pros:

It is a completely different tool from traditional accounting software, it is created to be able to carry out better productivity and advanced control over the different accounting contracts of your clients, it has provided us with functions for the management of unique accounting and is created exclusively for professional accountants looking to create balance sheets, be able to carry out inventory costs and all financial statements for their clients.

Cons:

There are no features that I dislike, I find it excellent that it helps to create completely personalized financial statements, increasing productivity and getting work done quickly and with better accuracy.

Get away while you can

Horrible. Stay away if you can. Their payroll solution works like a charm, but I would stay away from their accounting suite. Lots of glitches and very limited in use. We would spend more time fixing issues caused by the program then we would doing write up work.

We decided to make the switch to the cloud. We didn't like the "Per Company" pricing model that most companies had and thought we would try out this product.

Cons:

We encountered various backend issues that the support team had no response. Transactions would duplicate on their own, transactions wouldn't have offset accounts. We even had one case where one year worth of data for a client was completely erased. Support had no idea what the problem was and wouldn't even bother investigating why this was happening. Bank rules are very limited. Reporting is limited. You are not able to generate a simple profit and loss for a specific date range, only period to period.

Great Cloud Based Accounting Software if You Don't Mind the Customer Service

We use all of the Accountant World apps. The software is easy, straightforward, cloud based and very flexible. We put up with the customer support because the software is good.

We do all of the accounting for our clients on this software. 1) It is flexible because it lets clients do as much or as little as they want 2) I can import from other apps such as Payroll Relief for a much quicker reconciliation 3) It is very straightforward

Cons:

1) Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. 2) When there is a technical issue they do not inform customers

Works for my needs

Overall it has some quirks and limitations, but no system is perfect. For me it works and is a better option than QuickBooks online as an accounting professional.

I love the Financial reporting and the fact that they do not compete for my business. Can also consolidate companies and e-mail reports with the click of your mouse.Online Access and other features from Accountant's World Like Payroll Relief

Cons:

-Search feature is worthless. You can't search by memo or description and it limits at 25 lines. You can however drill down on certain fields, which is your best alternative. -No backup feature, so if your information gets corrupted in any manner, you have to manually fix it, or start over. If you have ever had to restore from a backup file, you know how valuable this feature is.-Can't export to Drake Tax

Not just a software provider...but a strategic business partner providing me the tools I need.

The benefit of automation and integration I did not find in other products and more so control. Unlike other packages where the client has the software and invite you in as a user, in AW I set up the software and invite the client in to use it allowing me to provide them an already set up turn key solution to their bookkeeping/accounting/payroll needs.

A system built only for accountants, by accountants. AW does not compete against me selling software to my clients, they provide me the tools that enable me to provide a complete line of professional services from the simple after the fact write-up to 100% outsource CFO service. All accessible 24/7 anywhere I have an internet connection. Tools like bank feeds and electronic bill pay automate much of work which recently was all manual entry.

The logic and simple layout makes it easy to use. Once you understand how things are arranged then you can find what you need.

Cons:

Needs to expand into areas of shipping documents and purchase orders. The reporting area needs some work to allow for better manipulation of the data.
