Excellent. I've tested and worked with many fixed asset platforms, and Fixed Asset Pro is the best when it comes to doing what I need: value and depreciation tracking. My company uses it to track value and depreciation of Assets, and has few needs beyond that. Fixed Asset Pro handles these efficiency and directly, and doesn't bury them under unnecessary features. #### Cons The current version of the software has some bugs, but they are actively being worked on by the development team. I don't love how you need to upgrade the newest version or lose all technical support for prior versions as well. #### Reasons for choosing Fixed Asset Pro We needed a Fixed Asset platform that was focused on accounting, not on physically interacting with the Assets as other systems preferred. Compare to other products it's good value for the price. #### Cons Please add a way to duplicate a project in the CIP module. For example if we buy 20 laptops, it would be nice if I could create the first one and duplicate it 19 more times. #### Vendor response Thank you for your review of Fixed Asset Pro. You can duplicate assets but not CIP projects. For example, you can enter 1 laptop asset and use the Copy Asset function to make 19 copies that you can edit instead of entering each one from scratch. You can also create templates for common types of assets and include presets so you can quickly create new assets from a template and reduce data entry errors. After wasting my time trying to do my own research into an aspect of the program I was running, I reached out by phone, missed the return call, but received a voice mail with very clear, step by step instructions which solved my issue swimmingly. Yay! Then [sensitive content hidden] called to check in on my results and while on the phone helped me with another aspect I was not familiar with, but really needed to know about. Our favorite thing about it is the quality of the reports. #### Cons Our only issue with Fixed Asset Pro has been installing the updated versions on our work computers. We have to our IT administrator install it with the main network administrator user instead of being able to install it under the user who is actually using it. It allows us to track the assets of all of our companies including the ability to add supporting documents. It's very user friendly with a very low learning curve and a ton of resources to help you learn the system at your own pace. We use Fixed Asset Pro in a cloud environment, and the team was very prompt in getting us the needed information to push the software into our cloud environment. #### Cons Fixed Asset Pro does not have an API with Quickbooks enterprise yet. This is the only con that I have seen with the software. #### Reasons for switching to Fixed Asset Pro We had been in a legacy contract with BNA Fixed Assets. The instructions were easy to follow and the whole process was enjoyable. We had to stop tracking our assets in Excel and this product was the answer. #### Cons Limitations on date range calculations. FA Pro replaced Excel worksheets and efficiently handles the management and recording of our fixed assets at an affordable cost. [sensitive content hidden] of FA Pro has also provided exceptional customer support anytime assistance was needed. #### Cons There have been previous issues of how FA Pro records partial FA disposals. These issues were resolved by creating separate partial assets of the original asset and handling the disposal for the newly created specific partial asset. We have a few clients that we calculate monthly depreciation for and the software makes it easy. #### Cons I struggle sometimes trying to get the gain in Fixed Asset Pro to match the tax return.
