It is a configurable module suite that supports both single and multiple organizations. Questica Budget provides seamless integration with human resources and payroll systems to track changes and audit capabilities. Questica - Midsize City

Questica Budget is great - their help desk is very responsive, I appreciate being able to control the version of the software we use, and the ability to create custom reports to meet changing needs is great!

Pros:

There are many things related to budgeting that Questica gets right. I especially appreciate the ability to customize the software in way to best meet the needs of your organization.

Cons:

Questica is continuously improving their offerings. The Performance Measures module isn't my favorite to use, but as a user of the software for more than 5 years, I can see how much work has been put into improving it.

Great product, highly recommend

Keeping all the budget data in one spot, instead of on other systems and software. It's easy to balance the budget and the users find it very easy to use.

Timesaving for all users and finance. Keeps all the budget information in one spot and very easy to view and make necessary changes.

Cons:

The save function seems to be a bit slow, and if you are using your lap top on a wifi connection it seems to stall and sometimes the save doesn't work.

We liked the look and feel of the product and it was evident our users would be extremely happy. Now they like budgeting and love the look and feel of Questica.

Reasons for switching to Questica Budget

The budget module was not user friendly and very difficult the see the whole picture of each department. With over 120 departments to track separately we needed a product that had more functionality and very user friendly. You can view each department on one screen and see the whole five year forecast.

A versatile, user-friendly product, backed with great customer support

Questica Budget has helped us streamline and refine our budget process, save time, and reduce errors. It allows for more ownership, accountability, and transparency. Users can view up-to-date actual transactions, by way of integration with our accounting program, which wasn't available in our former budget environment. The system is user-friendly and intuitive; users are able to navigate it, create budgets, and pull reports with ease. Problems, which are infrequent, are handled quickly by a friendly group at Questica Support. We are very happy with the software and the support we receive from Questica.

Budget Entry and Reporting

Questica has simplified my budget process. Questica has shaved off 6 weeks of Excel spreadsheet setup. Users are able to log in and enter their budgets with ease. The Users can then run reports to compare their prior year budget against their current budget and see their Year To Date Actuals!! Questica has reduced the time for me to prepare over 100 Excel spreadsheets with prior year budget and actuals and has eliminated linking errors and keying errors. Also, the customer service is fantastic! Questica responds to inquiries quickly and works well with our IT staff.
