Pros:

I like the ease of the Financial reporting and the real time data.

Cons:

We did have some issues with Connectivity after S/4 upgrade, but that was really just due to a misunderstanding of the requirements and due to our security settings

Reasons for choosing Wands for SAP

SAP BW is not real time in our environment. It requires extracts, so the financial data is not real time and creating data cubes is taking some time

Wands for SAP review from a SAP Basis Standpoint

I'd say it is a good product product. Finance people love it. But as an IT person, I see some limitations of the product where you cannot do "everything" you want in order to get data, but it is understandable. 85% of their needs is fulfilled with Wands for SAP.

Pros:

I feel that the finance people working with WANDS can be autonomous in consulting finance data in SAP. Also the installation process is really straight forward and takes only a few minutes to implement.

Cons:

Converting from and older version to the latest is not as easy as it seems when you have very complicated Excel spreadsheet with complexe formulas. The conversion tool provided is made for simple Excel files. You need to put some work manually to convert these complexe files. But if the files are simple, the converter works without problems.

Pros:

In our business we have several products and divisions and it could be overwhelming sifting through information. The Ad hoc Query options gives us the ability to have information at our finger tips.

Cons:

Excel can freeze when using wands in combination with several programs or with having too many excel sheets opened.

Pros:

As I know, no body complaints about this apps. They seem to use this app a lot during the financial process.

Cons:

Since this apps runs on laptop based apps, every issues we have experienced so far are different and related to the laptop/MS Excel specifically.
