Carl Source Review - Corsicana, TX

Good. I would like better information on the use of the fields in the reports feature. It's difficult sometimes and time-consuming to make a report because many variables are called the same thing and have different applications. Also, setting up meters as triggers could benefit with more examples in the Help file.

The breadth of coverage and the ease to use with other platforms. The triggers made up by meters and inspection criteria.

Cons:

The fact that the auto PM generation is shut off for all of our sites and can only be activated if all the sites are activated. This means we have to manually generate PMs almost on a daily basis.

Great versatility for our maintenance software

I can modify almost everything in the Software. Some modifications could be difficult to achieve, but the cutimization is someowe easy to do.

Almost everything is customizable. We changed the workflow, the read/write access for many fields for many profiles. Every forms are customizable.

Cons:

It is very easy to change forms to see specific informations. It could be a con because sometimes, you do not know where you are (in wich form).

Reasons for switching to CARL Source

Not supported anymore. The software was not listed... the name was Senergy, but not EMK3 Senergy. Server was obsolete.

Carl Source Experience

Carl brings together all the needs of a maintenance department. I was able to adapt Carl to the needs of the company. The planning module is quite intuitive. Healing and preventive management is quite simple. The stock management module makes it possible to manage the stock well in anticipation of planned preventive interventions.

What I like most about Carl is the ability to adapt to needs. It is Carl who adapts to needs and not the other way around.

Cons:

What I like the least is the data transfer part via the carl charger, it takes a lot of time and not super intuitive, but with the documentation, it's well done.

I chose Carl Source for the CFR21 part 11 and the ability to adapt Carl to the needs of the company.

CARL: Let's continue like this...

As a user (not a programmer) I have seen CARL improve a lot, now the graphics are modern and there are many more useful functions than the first versions.
