About Visplore

Visplore is an analysis package for data exploration and visualization. It assists with data interpretation, forecasting, optimization, faulty asset identification, production monitoring, and load profiling. Visualizations such as time series plots, scatterplot matrices, respond surface tools, and heatmaps are used to aid data interpretation. Interactive analytics tools include correlation, comparative, and regression analyses, as well as pattern searching.

For workflow management, the system provides data selection and queries, cleansing, and feature engineering. It also allows copy and paste to Excel. The software supports interaction with dirty data, with selections and annotations. It traverses multiple levels of data analysis, from full detail to overview. Pros:

- Data can be easily checked for completeness - Large volumes of diverse data (process data, quality data, etc.) can be analyzed easily and very quickly - Data cleansing, applying filters, and discovering patterns are achievable through intuitive drag and drop - Analysis and visualization capabilities enable the identification of improvement potentials and support the creation of business cases

Cons:

- Requires some time to learn the tool. However, detailed written information about its features is provided - It takes some practice to create high-quality visualizations

Pros:

You can easily discover your data quick and easy and various plots are available. Outliers can be detected quickly, which makes the data exploration quite handy. So you simply get quickly an overview of your data without great afford.

Cons:

At the beginning you have to take some time to discover the whole product, because their are so many things to do. (Not really a disadvantage;) ). I still have some gaps in what the product can do.
