About openMAINT

openMAINT is a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) solution that helps businesses manage inventory, maintenance, logistics and economic operations related to real estate and assets. The platform comes with an energy and environment management module, which lets users record consumption readings and analyze them to improve usage across facilities.

openMAINT's space and asset inventory module allows supervisors to store documents, operational procedures, agreements, identification codes and more for each installation, technical asset, infrastructure and housing complex. It comes with a self-service portal, which enables users to communicate about the breakdown maintenance and assign work orders to specific departments.

openMaint comes with an interactive viewer for 3D IFC models, which lets businesses gain an overview of building rooms and move assets using drag functionality. Pricing is available on request and support is provided via online measures.

The most detail & advanced software for any field

for me and my team, openMaint save a lot of our time to track our assets. OpenMaint also help a lot to track the history of condition for certain assets which is easy to solve if there was issues raised.

Pros:

what I can say about this product is it have all functionality in most business area either you're from automotive, construction or others. The features that i found very significant to have is "history", it help a lot to track any changes of our assets.

Cons:

what I think the software missing was reporting part. If it have basic reporting features such as broken asset per month, most used asset, most popular model assets purchased, it would be the best software for asset management.

Opensource solution for managing buildings and all assets related

Pros: the tool is quite sophisticated and complete, comes with several workflows and reports preconfigured. I had to go through some customisation and the technical team helped me throughout professionaly. Mobile app is very handy. Cons: at first I faced some issues in the installation procedure

Community *free* edition is a tough battle

Feature-rich, very flexible platform. You have complete control over all options, level of detail and parameters.

Cons:

it is a pain to install, and once I got it running, the work orders were not working properly. Is the free version really non functional?

It would improve the user interfaz

The forms are not very visible for all the objects around it, the user interface is very unintuitive and unusable, it can improve the distribution of objects and a more modern interface. The functionality is fine but I think the interface can be improved.
