About Edulastic

Edulastic is a collaboration software designed to help teachers and educational institutions share online learning tasks and lessons with students, identify learning gaps and monitor progress against benchmarks. Trainers can utilize pre-built questions to conduct assessments and generate reports to analyze key performance data on a unified dashboard.

The platform enables students to annotate texts and draw shapes, lines or arrows to collaborate with group members on various answers. Edulastic allows educators to upload worksheets in PDF format and create custom answer sheets to automatically generate scores and grades. Additionally, teachers can shuffle questions across test papers to prevent cheating.

Edulastic offers an application programming interface (API), which lets businesses integrate the system with several third-party applications such as Canvas, ClassLink, Google Classroom, Schoology and more. Edulastic is available for free and on monthly subscriptions and support is extended via phone, email, video tutorials, knowledge base and forum.

Student Data Management a Plus!

Great experience overall. Our school uses Edulastic for our benchmark exams and data collection and problems/issues have been minimal.

Pros:

Incredibly helpful management tool for giving assessments and recording student data. I created my SMART goals with the help of this data management system.

Cons:

The test bank can be confusing and limited at times. It would be helpful is Edulastic vetted this system.

Could be better… could be worse

Overall it is easy to make or find assignments. Linking to state standards is easy but not always accurate- maybe some verification would help. Hard to edit questions and switch between question types… it will be extremely user friendly and then extremely un-friendly

Edulastic is perfect for sharing formative assessments!

Pros:

I love the ability to have my assessments instantly shared with my students. They can take their assessments on their Chromebook and then submit it right back to me where it is instantly graded. I love this program because it makes taking tests very easy.

Cons:

There isn't anything that I don't like about this program. In fact I love the single sign-on function!

Edulastic: the help you need

The benefits have been in the daily update of the progress of the students. I can actually see right away if they are missing a concept that needs reviewing, and I can adjust and reteach in real time.

Edulastic is an easily implemented online teaching tool that updates data daily so you can adjust your teaching to meet each child's need. This is the part I like the most about this software.

Cons:

What I feel could be improved is just the clarity of the page. There is a lot of data on one page and it could be streamlined.

Pros:

I love the feedback that it gives on the questions, including how much time was spent on each one! It's also easy to score or change the score.

Cons:

Linking with Google Classroom is not the easiest when compared to other products. Somehow it made duplicates of tests/quizzes and I was having to click back and forth between two of them for a single class. I also wish it would allow me to score extra credit on some questions.
