the wide variety of topics covered, reminders to employees to complete training, and reporting once you understand how to use it is a gem.

Cons:

learning how to launch training and reporting is not intuitive.

They offer a pre-assessment option for most modules

Cons:

It can be a complicated program to learn to administer, however, the support team is great.

I had previous experience with it in another job

All modules took at least an hour for staff to complete, did not offer all of the items required by OSHA or other regulatory agencies

Has most the CMS and Joint Commission requirements for training compliance.

Cons:

Can be difficult and more time consuming than anticipated to build/set up.

Great online learning & development platform

We use for medical compliance but would be nice to have the categories more organized for HR

Safety Q Review

Customer service through Safety Q has been great! They are quick to respond and jump on a TEAMS call when needed. Changes with courses throughout the year are communicated quickly and efficiently by HSTM staff.

Pros:

The SafetyQ learning plans are a great feature. They are easy to follow, and overall offer a great foundation for annual learning. The learning plans meet accreditation regulations.

Cons:

It would be nice to be able "edit" the course. As of now, we are just adding notes at the beginning, or we have made a hospital specific course to better suit the needs of our staff.

HealthStream Safety Q!

I have had only positive experiences with my staff and HealthStream. If I have encountered any issues I easy reach out for support and they help very quickly. Its easy to create different groups of employees and its easy to assign classes and keep compliant.

Easy for employees to access and navigate. They can access it from any computer and work on assignments during their leisure.

Cons:

Not many cons. Sometimes, on the administrative end, they offer so many options, it is easy to get overwhelmed.
