About Build Hero

Build Hero is a web-based home remodeling software which assists contractors and suppliers with cost estimation and customer acquisition. Its key features include project bidding, expense tracking, messaging and billing.

The application’s homeowner module allows users to upload photos, view bids, connect with contractors and initiate pricing approval. With its profile management functionality, managers can add or edit team members, define roles and create directory listing for the project. Additionally, it enables supervisors to create subprojects, track work hours and monitor progress.

Build Hero integrates with the accounting platform QuickBooks and lets contractors generate invoices and initiate payment after the completion of bid and cost approval process. It comes with a mobile application for Android and iOS and support is provided via email.

Highly recommend this program

Fantastic! I utilize it with my largest volume account and absolutely have no problems primarily due to the terrific communication aspect of the program if utilized correctly.

Pros:

The ability to manage a project completely from start to finish within one program while keeping all parties involved included in all aspects and communication while keeping the customer actively engaged and moving forward at the same time giving them the confidence of dealing with a Professional Company who is very organized and different from their competitors.

Cons:

I don't have a any negative and have been very impressed with the support and willingness to listen to ideas and implementation of some of the ideas along the way.

Love the ease of use!

The ability to be working with a client and for them to see multiple options, and then choose which option they prefer and it automatically adjust the bed is an amazing tool.

Pros:

How easy it is to use as a consumer. The ability to see every part of the bid, make selections within the bid, and communicate with all of the subs takes it steps above the competition.

Cons:

Honestly, I started using the software before a major upgrade and changing in between was a little confusing because I was working on projects in the old software and projects on the new software. But now that I’m completely 100% on all projects been in the new software it is super easy to use
