About FAST

FAST is a construction management system designed for large-scale homebuilders that build between 300 and 10,000 homes a year. It is offered by Constellation Software, a software company in the homebuilding industry.

FAST combines accounting and job costing, project management and project scheduling in a single suite. It also offers several other capabilities unique to the homebuilding industry. For example, FAST has a land development module that homebuilders can use to manage the different stages of the development process. Additionally, they offer a warranty module to both track warranties and manage any repair work that is covered under the warranty. Finally, they offer a web-based customer resource management (CRM) system to track sales prospects, manage marketing campaigns and provide service to existing homeowners.

FAST can be used by production homebuilders, real estate developers or design/build firms. It's best for companies that generate over $25 million in annual revenue. The software uses the Microsoft SQL database and can be integrated with Genifax, LanDev, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.

Partecipate in two implementation project: fast start and customer completely satisfied.

My customers that uses this software was so satisfied about the implenetation and we were able to easily integrate it with ERP Platform of their final customer (SAP mainly).

Pros:

Easy to Use, but knows perfectly customer business needs, so it has a full coverage of all the important functionality of the freight forwarding business process.

Cons:

No real pain point, waiting for new release to discover new functionalities connected to warehouse activities.

Pros:

It's a great FREE tool to manage our freight network, ask for quotations, publishing our company news and create new business relations with potential agents and direct clients.

Cons:

Missing payment protection and dispute center, they are saying it's coming soon and we are waiting for it!
