About GiddyUp

CutterCroix’s GiddyUp platform is an all-inclusive cloud-based solution including a canvassing app, CRM, workflow and estimating system and a customer portal. The platform is designed for commercial and residential roofing and siding contractors, plumbers, residential remodelers and other specialty contractors.

GiddyUp enables contractors to manage their entire process from one platform including sales pipeline management, scheduling, job coordination, email management, custom forms, customer portal and door-to-door canvassing.

GiddyUp clients are billed on a per job basis which includes unlimited users, unlimited locations, unlimited door knocks and unlimited estimates.

Pros:

The software is highly customizable, allowing it to be specifically designed to meet the unique needs of your business. As your company grows and changes, the software can seamlessly adjust to accommodate new requirements and challenges, ensuring that it remains an effective tool for your operations.

Cons:

GiddyUp prioritizes a system-driven approach over a report-driven one. The idea is to create automations that ensure tasks are completed, rather than relying on reports to manage your business. As a result, the reporting capabilities may be limited at the moment, but I sense that improvements are on the horizon. ;)

Reasons for switching to GiddyUp

I built to many systems outside of acculynx and had a hard time managing the data transfers.

Giddyup is good For Roofing, but not the best for complex Construction Projects

We use it for Project Management for Residential and Commercial Roofing jobs. Overall, it is a robust software with an easy to use API (at least with Domo)

Very Simple to use and train. Able to teach new users how to use it very quickly.

Cons:

While it worked for simple Roofing projects, it was not ideal for larger-scale complex construction projects.

GiddyUp for roofing

I find GU to be to convoluted. It's too hard to make changes on the fly. The information should be simpler and easier to understand at a glance.

It was easy to upload docs and pictures.

Cons:

I disliked the search function. It is very limited in locating jobs. The reports do not pull properly.

GiddyUp is a great tool to work with

It has been really good, I learned fast and use it every day to build my estimates on Xactimate, upload my photographs (now in bulk instead of one by one which was very tedious before until we complained to our management that it was so time consuming). I am happy they change and improved efficiency. We can see our IP, production boards, approve jobs, etc. Great tool to work with!

This software is easy to use, efficient and reliable. It is also adaptable in regards to improving to make our hectic jobs easier.

Cons:

I wish we could price here too instead of xactimate.
