About Jobpac Connect

Jobpac Connect by Trimble is a cloud-based Construction Project Management (CPM) solution designed to help users track accounting and HR processes, manage job costs and revenue, report forecasting and cash flow, and track fixed assets.

The solution's AR/AP functionality provides emailed invoices, banking interfaces, and multiple invoice formats. Jobpac Connect's Payroll feature allows for multiple costing options, automatic leave accrual, and online timesheet entries while the HR component manages renewals, applicants, training history and costs, and competencies.

Jobpac Connect provides integration between the accounting and project management components, giving users a landscape of their job progress. Procurement, variations management, and job costing are all included, along with interfacing to estimating packages via spreadsheets. Users can also use pre-configured forms like subcontract payment authorizations and payslips to obtain business intelligence in the required format.

Support is provided through an online resource portal and via phone and product tutorials.

Jobpac, the ideal software for the construction industry!

Ease of use, reporting function for Senior Leadership Team, Visibility of cashflow, forecasting.

Cons:

Was hoping for more updates. The subcontract module could be a bit easier to use but other than that very happy with Jobpac.

Ability to track project costs - detailed analysis of jobs.

Cons:

PTA function not available reports are limited (i.e. cannot pull from multiple modules at the same time) payroll is clunky.

Overall, Jobpac does allow for everything in one software. The only issue is because they are in so many factions, I feel a lot of the functions are outdated.

Pros:

The software allows for all functions of the business; reporting, analysing, payroll.

Cons:

How clunky the system is. A lot of the functions in Jobpac are not automated and is a very outdated software. Changes and new implementations do not occur frequent enough. Payroll is terrible, not having the ability to track Leave management is horrific. Payroll should have the ability to track leave management and automatically populate each period. To complete any task, there is a thousand clicks.

"JOBPAC CONNECT" Technology at its very best

As a professional Architect engineer and a Project Manager of a multi-dimensional constructional project, i faced many problems to manage physical activities and to coordinate with finance department. Thanks to JOBPAC CONNECT which actually connects our financial flow, payroll and other financial issues with the project activities which enables me to plan and monitor workflow and cash flow

Paperless up to dated activities, really makes an easy bridge between financial issues and the project activities within the project team. easy to track and respond costing matters more efficiently safe time and build professional capacity of the project related team

Not much, initially it requires more time to became familiar to jobpac, once you done, you will start enjoying using it
