The Newspaper Manager is a web-based CRM solution designed to help digital and print publishers streamline operations.

Newspaper Manager includes a customer relationship management platform, a robust sales pipeline opportunities module, an order management system that handles print orders, events, and digital products, a billing module, accounts receivable system, and a powerful reporting suite.

The Newspaper Manager's customer relationship management module enables businesses to build, categorize, and search the customer database based on names, phone numbers, emails, companies, and addresses, among other categories.

Through the creation of ad orders or rate cards and ad inventory management, it helps publishers streamline the entire print and digital advertising lifecycles. The ad order entry functionality allows businesses to create contracts, insertion orders, and invoice templates for print, digital, and display advertisements. Any type of media buy can be accurately managed, including email newsletters, website ads, events, and bulk media buys.

cess by allowing sales staff to send electronic, legally binding documents to be signed and approved. Once signed and approved, the proposal will be automatically approved within the CRM, and automated emails will be sent to both the sales rep and the customer with a PDF of the signed document. With Newspaper Manager’s collaborative production and project management module, publishers can rest assured that nothing falls through the cracks. Designed with customizable project stages and Project Timeline, any type of media buy can be accurately tracked and managed, including email newsletters, website ads, events, subscriptions, and bulk media buys. Team members can receive live production updates of ad units, submit real-time feedback, and track time estimates of ongoing projects. The digital software also enables publishing professionals to paginate publications and editions, conduct flat planning, and determine article and advertisement layouts. Newspaper Manager's reporting suite gives publishers insight into performance and profitability. Any information logged within the system can be effortlessly tracked and monitored. With Newspaper Manager's Analytics Dashboard tool, users can select from over 300 data tiles to drag-and-drop onto a report and completely customize the appearance of each tile. From Quick Pay and auto-pay to Payment Card Industry-compliance, The Newspaper Manager can reconcile multiple bills effortlessly and even in batches. The Newspaper Manager also integrates with QuickBooks accounting, giving publishing businesses the power to perform transactions, collect payments, store invoices, and prepare custom reports based on aging A/R summaries, sales agent performance, and conversion rate analysis. There’s even the ability to process payments through multiple gateways and in multiple currencies. Newspaper Manager's Gmail and Outlook extensions seamlessly connect your email account to our CRM, allowing you to access, add, and copy notes within your email, as well as transfer emails and attachments directly into the CRM. Newspaper Manager can also be set up with Media Mate, our AI powered media assistant which does everything from content creation, to website segmentation, media analytics, and automated prospecting research. Newspaper Manager seamlessly integrates with the full suite of Mirabel’s media products including Marketing Manager, our marketing automation and audience development platform and ChargeBrite, our recurring revenue platform. Our audience development platform includes a landing page management system, email marketing automation, a website visitor identification platform, competitor insights, and an email verification program.

    Highly recommend using Newspaper manager for your sales needs

    I have been using the product for several months and have been able to quickly and efficiently get my tasks done. Mostly use for email campaigns and driving sales leads

    Pros:
    Makes running marketing/back end sales tasks super easy and was an extremely easy platform to learn. Also the support team is very quick and responsive if I ever need assistance.
    Cons:
    Only small issue I have is wish we could merge accounts with past orders myself but not a huge issue having to send those over for merger

    Overall I can't complain. Whenever we have an issue, it gets resolved in a timely manner. And everyone has been so kind and helpful helping us transition through new ownership and basically the entire time we've had Newspaper Manager.

    Pros:
    I love that everything we need to do to sell and record sold ads and design projects are all stored in one spot. Everyone can access it from whereever they are. And we can improve on our digital issues.
    Cons:
    I wish that every ad would be a little thumbnail next to the run date. And also that the digital studio would keep upgrading to add new features, so that we can grow our digital issues with the changing times.

    It is a different way of thinking, but once you get it it is very easy to use.

    Very good - we transitioned from our old system in Mach 2020 prior to Covid. It was the best move we made considering what followed. Our old system was not web based and so salespeople were still able to access the customers information and we were able to sell.

    The fact that it is web based and pricing is very reasonable. My old system was not web based and it was developed by someone who had recently died.
    Cons:
    Some of the reports I did have in my old system -I do not have in Manager. I am the office manager & accouting manager and process all invoices and payments.

    I like how effective the program is, how quickly you can access reports, and of course how readily my representative, [sensitive content hidden], is available to assist me when I need it.
    Cons:
    If someone reached out to conduct training on the updates and made the program's updates easier to understand, I think it would be even better.

    I think it's gone pretty smooth other than not realizing why my invoices were ending up in spam until a few months later. As soon as I mentioned it, the problem was identified and I am just waiting on my internal team to create the solution needed to fix it.

    Easy to use once you've been through some training. My rep is very accessible and always jumps in if I can't find what I'm I'm looking for under the many HELP videos.
    Cons:
    Nothing really -- we have to get the marketing program to do some of the features I would like to use and we are looking at that. Most of my "not likes" are because I am in sales and am the only one using all features (creating products, changing products, invoicing etc).
