About Slingshot

Slingshot helps teams organize their work in tasks, assigning them with priority, due dates, and blockers. Work is organized in Workspaces for transparency and cross-department collaboration, helping with organization-wide alignment and project management. Slingshot is also the only hub your team needs for all their needed content – brought together from any cloud storage like Google Drive, OneDrive, Sharepoint, Box, DropBox, for uploading and pinning links. The app is equipped with a BI engine providing users with a connection to their data sources and platforms, to pull data insights and create beautiful dashboards, share them across their teams and implement data-driven decisions. Chat functionalities allow for 1:1 and group discussions, so teams can have a conversation in the context of the task, dashboard, or project they have entered. Different workspaces can also be shared with outside collaborators with restricted access. Slingshot effectively eliminates app-switching and provides an uninterrupted workflow for teams, saving time and effort.     Pros:
    The biggest advantage of Slinghsot is the built in data analytics within the work management platform. You don't have to pay for multiple tools, especially costly bi and data visualisation tools
    Cons:
    It can be a bit tricky at first to learn how all the features work, so having more documentation or video tutorials would be helpful.

    I really like Slingshot’s data analytics features. Unlike other project management tools, Slingshot provides real-time intuitive dashboards which our teams quickly adopted, saving us significant time searching for the data in multiple tools. After implementing Slingshot, our team now saves approximately 5 days a month that were spent on creating reports. Additionally, we’ve improved our cash flow by accessing account receivable data and acting on issues faster.
    Cons:
    We encountered some minor technical issues during implementation, but they were quickly fixed by the support team. I do not think there is anything I dislike about the product.

    Slingshot is my go-to workplace tool. I’m able to focus and organize my day-to-day tasks, chat with team members in-context about everything from press releases to media outreach, manage what my team is doing and communicate with clients.The app has given me time back in my day to focus on tasks that move the needle for my business and my clients, as I don’t have to spend time sifting through endless emails or looking for conversations from months ago to find what I need to complete a task. I can pin every document and file, bookmark important conversations and follow through tasks from start to finish–all in the same app.

    Slingshot has significantly improved my team’s collaboration. Before Slingshot, I spent a lot of time switching between different applications to find documents or communicate with internal team members and clients. With Slingshot, everything I need to do my job can be found within the app–I can connect with everyone I need to and easily organize all my files in one place. Data insights and dashboards are also a bonus.
    Cons:
    I would love to have a calendar view, as currently you need to go under each workspace to view the dates of individual projects. I’m a very visual person, so this would be helpful in the day-to-day.

    I have been using Slingshot for some time now and I am fascinated by the benefits that the product offers. I use it as project management tool to manage content projects in my current company. The product is an ideal option to keep your files and documents organised. It definitely meet all my expectations.
    Cons:
    I have no complaints about the product and I don't think it needs any improvements. It is a pleasure to work with and definitely facilitates the working process.
