Great for Sales and Accounting, Easy to Use

I love using Sage 200. While I know there might be better software out there, this one is very user-friendly and highly effective for our sales and accounting needs. We switched from QuickBooks Enterprise.

It's easy to use and the support team is always there to help. The accounting features are excellent, and managing sales is very straightforward.
Cons:
There are a few bugs, but they are generally easy to fix. The pricing is high, and sometimes an upgrade is necessary to improve ease of use.

We switched because QuickBooks felt more like bookkeeping, and we needed true accounting software for our growth and more complex needs. Sage was a much better fit.

Sage 200 can handle higher number of transactions as compared to its predecessor l. The inclusion of cost center and department has improved our reporting exponentially. With Sage 200, we were able to manage inventory pretty well knowing our stock at warehouse level and the branch level.
Cons:
The implementation of Sage 200 is a tedious affair. The data had to be cleaned before moving it to the new software. Secondly, it's UI design still lacks the finnes which other peers provide.

A switch was required as the company grew and it was difficult to maintain and track inventory. Many improvements and additional features were introduced in sage 200 which prove invaluable to us.

Its powerful, a lot more than the likes of Xero and Quickbooks and that level.
Cons:
Cost is prohibitive for small companies in both licensing and the professional version requires a server.

I dont remember at the time all of them, but we visited conferences and looked at many solutions and selected Sage.

Only a long time ago, we upgraded to Sage 200 having outgrown the software and requiring a full solution.

It’s a really easy product to use and the fast that it is very customisable application means that it can be developed to suit each companies needs.
Cons:
It would be better if some of the addons came as standard instead of the need to spend extra. Professional is great but standard is lot more limited.
