Great service for online cards

Easy to set up and make sure the card gets to the right person. People can choose fonts, gifs and other personalisations.

Pros:

Easy to set up, share with colleagues and collect contributions. You can also use the contributions pot to buy a physical gift or let the recipient choose a gift card. Lovely way to show colleagues you're thinking about them on special occasions.

Cons:

Nothing I can think of! Good service, happy with it.

Pros:

Thankbox is beautifully crafted and so easy to use. We have been using it for the workplace and it has made getting everyone's contributions and thoughtful messages easy and quick. I love the video/audio and gif features! I love the ease of changing what is needed after creating it. Since this is for work, I have to invoice everything and Thankbox sends the invoices right away so that I can log it to our finance department.

Cons:

I didn't realize there was a fee for adding funds to the cards and that the rate changes.

Great way of doing a card and collection for colleagues

Excellent, simple, effective and have had some good communication with the company about improvments and what more I could add to it.

Pros:

This is simple to setup and share to people. It's taken all the hassle out of passing a card around the office, which obviously at the moment is not possible so is great for now but i do think it's a better way of doing it when we are in the office.

Cons:

The looks could be improved, there's plenty of wallpapers you can use and fonts, but i think they need more. I think you can customise your own as well but i'm no good at that so need better looking templates.

A quick, fun and easy way to send a thank you to anyone

Very positive, I am glad we found this service. When issuing giftcards to staff in the past, I have either had to queue and have store assistants put through each giftcard one by one, something always goes wrong (whether in the shop, or the staff members activating them). This is a very easy way to acknowledge and reward members of staff, with little effort. I like that you can pass the link round and other people can add their own message and contribution to the card!

It was very quick to set up and user friendly - although we had a lot to send out, I didn't use the bulk upload feature but I definitely will in the future! I like how customisable the cards themselves are, and we will implement this in the business for birthdays, milestones etc I also like how the recipient can choose what they do with the money.

Cons:

The amount of email confirmations I received (once the thankbox was created, once it was sent, once it was opened) - I know this isn't a huge issue, and will be helpful in the future when we're having to send less out at one time!

Easy to use, reasonably priced. Good gift options and the option to buy something for the recipient as well as do a voucher.

Cons:

I would like the backgrounds for the card cover to allow you to have a box for the text so that the text isn't obscured by the image. It would make it a bit more accessible.

Great product to share cards within a virtual team

It's easy to use. Safe for sharing money. Allows us to express appreciation from multiple people in an easy way.

Pros:

It is easy to use and allows me to send cards to people in multiple countries. We often include gift cards which give us a safe way to collect money from multiple countries.

Cons:

The link for csv for multiple card creation was not working so I had to create every single card manually. It would be great if this functionality was available.

Reasons for switching to Thankbox

I prefer to support a local company where possible.

Thankbox made remote staff milestones more personal

Pros:

When one of our regional team leads was celebrating their work anniversary or retirement, Thankbox gave us a simple way to collect messages from across our network. The thoughtful touch was much appreciated by the team.

Cons:

Customization is limited you can’t tweak visuals too much beyond bare-bones choices. Without that issue it's perfect.

Collaboration with team members remotely is easy, and the functionality makes it more personalised for the person receiving the thankbox card

Cons:

It is a little expensive considering a card/postage would be cheaper and it’s annoying to get prompted to upgrade to premium at every step

Easy to use, everyone can add messages when they have time. No running around to find people to add messages into a physical card.

Cons:

The only thing I can suggest to approve upon would be the variety of images / gifs that are available to add with your message.

Pros:

I love the concept, user friendly website, the amount of options for the gift cards, especially the pre-paid mastercard or visa. I have used 4 so far and received one, great experience overall.

Cons:

The extra charge on contributions or 50p. It is not a lot in general, but if you pay the set up, that should be free.
